"جَاءَتْ هِنْدٌ أُمُّ مُعَاوِيَةَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ! إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ شَحِيحٌ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يُعْطِينِي وَوَلَدِي إِلَّا مَا أَخَذْتُ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ لَا يَعْلَمُ، فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ فِي ذَلِكَ شَيْءٌ؟ قَالَ: خُذِي مَا يَكْفِيكِ وَبَنِيكِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ".

Hind bint ʿUtba said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Abu Sufyan is a miser and he does not give me what is sufficient for me and my children. Can I take of his property without his knowledge?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Take what is sufficient for you and your children, and the amount should be just and reasonable.

[Machine] Hind, the mother of Muawiya and the wife of Abu Sufyan, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man and does not provide me and my children with enough. I only take from him what I can take, and he does not know. Is there any blame on me regarding this?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Take what is sufficient for you and your children in a manner that is acceptable."  

الدارمي:٢٣٠٥أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَنْبَأََنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

[Machine] Abdullah bin Maslamah Al-Qa'nabi narrated to me that his father, Hisham bin 'Urwah, narrated from his father, from Aisha who said: Hind, the mother of Muawiya, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: Abu Sufyan is a stingy man and does not give me enough to suffice me and my children, except for what I take from him without his knowledge. Is there any harm for me in that? So the Prophet ﷺ said to her: "Take that which is sufficient for you and your children in a manner that is reasonable."

So, am I entitled to anything in this matter?" The Prophet ﷺ said to her, "Take what is sufficient for you and your children according to what is right." This is the wording of the hadith narrated by Abdul Aziz.
