'Hind came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man and he does not give me enough for me and my child, except for what I take from his wealth without him realizing.' He said: Take what is sufficient for you and your child, on a reasonable basis.' " (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2293)

Hind (bint ʿUtba) said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Abu Sufyan is a miser. Is there any harm if I take of his property what will cover me and my children's needs?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Take (according to your needs) in a reasonable manner."

Hind, the mother of Mu'awiyah, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'Abu Sufyan is a stingy person. He does not give me as much (money) as suffices me and my children. Is there any harm to me if I take something from his property ? He said: Take as much as suffices you and your children according to the custom.

[Machine] Hind, the mother of Muawiya and the wife of Abu Sufyan, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man and does not provide me and my children with enough. I only take from him what I can take, and he does not know. Is there any blame on me regarding this?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Take what is sufficient for you and your children in a manner that is acceptable."  

الدارمي:٢٣٠٥أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَنْبَأََنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ هِنْدًا أُمَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ شَحِيحٌ وَإِنَّهُ لَا يُعْطِينِي مَا يَكْفِينِي وَبَنِيَّ إِلَّا مَا أَخَذْتُ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ لَا يَعْلَمُ فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ فِي ذَلِكَ جُنَاحٌ؟ فَقَالَ «خُذِي مَا يَكْفِيكِ وَوَلَدَكِ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ»

[Machine] Hind said to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), "Indeed, Abu Sufyan is a stingy man and I only have what he provides for me." He (the Prophet) said, "Take what is sufficient for you and your child with what is good."

[Machine] Abdullah bin Maslamah Al-Qa'nabi narrated to me that his father, Hisham bin 'Urwah, narrated from his father, from Aisha who said: Hind, the mother of Muawiya, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: Abu Sufyan is a stingy man and does not give me enough to suffice me and my children, except for what I take from him without his knowledge. Is there anything upon me in this matter?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Take what is sufficient for you and your children with kindness."
