I say to you only as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say. He used to say:

allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina al-ʿajzi wa-l-kasal wa-l-jubn wa-l-bukhl wa-l-haram wa-ʿadhābi al-qabr. allāhumma āti nafsī taqwāhā wa-zakkihā anta khayru man zakkāhā, anta waliyyuhā wa-mawlāhā. allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ʿilmin lā yanfaʿ, wa-min qalbin lā yakhshaʿ, wa-min nafsin lā tashbaʿ, wa-min daʿwatin lā yustajābu lahā

(O Allah, I seek refuge in You from helplessness, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, old age, and the punishment of the grave. O Allah, grant my soul its taqwa and purify it; You are the best of those who purify it. You are its Protector and its Master. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not humble itself, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.)

لاَ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ إِلاَّ كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ. كَانَ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ. اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا، وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا، أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلاَهَا. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لاَ تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لاَ يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا».

"I will not teach you anything but that which the Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to teach us. لاَ أُعَلِّمُكُمْ إِلاَّ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُعَلِّمُنَا يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلاَهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لاَ تَشْبَعُ وَعِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ وَدَعْوَةٍ لاَ يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا

"When it was said to Zaid bin Arqam: 'Tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah [SAW], he said: "I will not tell you anything but that which the Messenger of Allah [SAW] commanded us to say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min al-'ajzi wal-kasali, wal-bukhli, wal-jubni, wal-harami, wa 'adhabil-qabri. Allahumma at nafsi taqwaha, wa zakkaha anta khairu min zakkaha, anta waliyyuha wa mawlaha. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min nafsin la tashba'u wa min qalbin la yakhsha'u wa min 'ilmin la yanfa'u wa du'a'in la yustajab (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, old age, the torment of the grave. O Allah, make my soul obedient and purify it, for You are the best One to purify it, You are its Guardian and Lord. He used to supplicate:" O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity, from sloth, from cowardice, from miserliness, decrepitude and from torment of the grave. O Allah, grant to my soul the sense of righteousness and purify it, for Thou art the Best Purifier thereof. Thou art the Protecting Friend thereof, and Guardian thereof. O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the knowledge which does not benefit, from the heart that does not entertain the fear (of Allah), from the soul that does not feel contented and the supplication that is not responded." لَا أَعْلَمُكُمْ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعَلِّمُنَا «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ اللهُمَّ آتِ أَنْفُسَنَا تَقْوَاهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا أَنْتَ وَلِيِّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَعِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَدَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا»

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يُعَلِّمُنَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْهِرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ اللَّهُمَّ آتِ أَنْفُسَنَا تَقْوَاهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلاهَا اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ قَلْبٍ لا يَخْشَعُ وَنَفْسٍ لا تَشْبَعُ وَعِلْمٌ لا يَنْفَعُ وَدَعْوَةٍ لا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا

"اللَّهُمَّ إِنى أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ العَجْز، وَالكسَلِ، والجبن، وَالبُخْلِ (والهم - الظاهرية) وَالهَرَم، وَعَذَاب القَبْرِ، وَفَتْنَةِ الدَّجالِ، اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِى تَقْوَاهَا، وَزَكَهَا أَنْتَ

خَيرُ منْ زَكَّاهَا، أنْتَ وَلِيُّها ومَوْلاهَا، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ علمٍ لَا يَنفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلب لَا يَخْشَع، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ، وَصَلاة لَا تَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُستَجَاب لَهَا ".
