[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us while we were in the mosque, seven of us. Three of us were Arabs and four of us were non-Arabs, or four of us were Arabs and three of us were non-Arabs. The Prophet ﷺ came out from one of the corners of the mosque until he sat with us and asked, "What made you sit here?" We replied, "We are waiting for the prayer." He then tapped the ground with his finger and turned it over for a while, then raised his head and asked, "Do you know what your Lord says?" We replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "He says, 'Whoever performs the prayer at its prescribed time and observes its proper limits, it will be a guarantee for him to enter Paradise. And whoever does not perform the prayer at its prescribed time and does not observe its proper limits, he will not have any guarantee from me. If I will, I will admit him to Hell, and if I will, I will admit him to Paradise.'"

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ سَبْعَةٌ مِنَّا ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنْ عَرَبِنَا وَأَرْبَعَةٌ مِنْ مَوَالِينَا أَوْ أَرْبَعَةٌ مِنْ عَرَبِنَا وَثَلَاثَةٌ مِنْ مَوَالِينَا قَالَ فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ بَعْضِ حُجَرِهِ حَتَّى جَلَسَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ «مَا يُجْلِسُكُمْ هَاهُنَا؟» قُلْنَا انْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ فَنَكَتَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَكَسَ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ رَفَعَ إِلَيْنَا رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ «هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا يَقُولُ رَبُّكُمْ؟» قَالَ قُلْنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ إِنَّهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا فَأَقَامَ حَدَّهَا كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ عَلَيَّ عَهْدٌ أُدْخِلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَلَمْ يُقِمْ حَدَّهَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ عِنْدِي عَهْدٌ إِنْ شِئْتُ أَدْخَلْتُهُ النَّارَ وَإِنْ شِئْتُ أَدْخَلْتُهُ الْجَنَّةَ

[AI] "While I was sitting in the mosque of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, leaning against its wall, there were seven individuals with me. Four of them were from our followers and three were from our Arab brethren. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us to lead the Dhuhr prayer. When he finished praying, he asked us why we were sitting there. We replied, 'O Messenger of Allah, we are waiting for the prayer.' He pondered for a moment, then raised his head and asked, 'Do you know what your Lord says?' We replied, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said, 'Indeed, your Lord says that whoever offers the prayer at its prescribed time and observes its obligations without neglecting any part, they will have a covenant with me to enter Paradise. بَيْنَمَا أَنَا جَالِسٌ فِي مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مُسْنِدِي ظُهُورِنَا إِلَى قِبْلَةِ مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ سَبْعَةُ رَهْطٍ أَرْبَعَةٌ مِنْ مَوَالِينَا وَثَلَاثَةٌ مِنْ عَرَبِنَا إِذْ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ مَا يُجْلِسُكُمْ هَاهُنَا قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ فَأَرَمَّ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ أَتَدْرُونَ مَا يَقُولُ رَبُّكُمْ ﷻ قَالَ قُلْنَا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ ﷻ يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَحَافَظَ عَلَيْهَا وَلَمْ يُضَيِّعْهَا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِحَقِّهَا فَلَهُ عَلَيَّ عَهْدٌ أَنْ أُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّهَا لِوَقْتِهَا وَلَمْ يُحَافِظْ عَلَيْهَا وَضَيَّعَهَا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِحَقِّهَا فَلَا عَهْدَلَهُ إِنْ شِئْتُ عَذَّبْتُهُ وَإِنْ شِئْتُ غَفَرْتُ لَهُ

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا يُجْلِسُكُمْ؟» قُلْنَا نَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ «أَتَدْرُونَ مَا يَقُولُ رَبُّكُمْ؟» قُلْنَا لَا قَالَ فَإِنَّهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى الصَّلَوَاتِ لِوَقْتِهَا وَلَمْ يُضَيِّعْهَا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِحَقِّهَا فَلَهُ عَلِيَّ أَنْ أُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّهَا لِوَقْتِهَا وَضَيَّعَهَا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِحَقِّهَا فَلَيْسَ لَهُ عِنْدِي عَهْدٌ إِنْ شِئْتُ عَذَّبْتُهُ وَإِنْ شِئْتُ عَفَوْتُ عَنْهُ

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَسْجِدَ وَنَحْنُ سَبْعَةُ رَهْطٍ أَرْبَعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ وَثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْمَوَالِي فَجَلَسَ فَقَالَ «أَتَدْرُونَ مَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ؟» قُلْنَا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ «مَنْ صَلَّى الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَلَمْ يَذَرْهَا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِهَا لَقِيَنِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَهُ عِنْدِي عَهْدٌ أُدْخِلَهُ بِهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَلِّهَا لِوَقْتِهَا وَتَرَكَهَا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِهَا لَقِيَنِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ عِنْدِي عَهْدٌ إِنْ شِئْتُ عَذَّبْتُهُ وَإِنْ شِئْتُ غَفَرْتُ لَهُ»

"أتدرونَ ما يقولُ ربكم؟ فإن ربكم - ﷻَّ - يقول: من صلى الصلاةَ لوقْتها وحافظ عليها، ولم يُضَيعها استخفافًا بحقها، فله علىّ عهد أن أدخله الجنة، ومن لم يصلها لوقتها، ولم يحافظ عليها وَضيعها استخفافا بحقها، فلا عهد له، إن شئت عذبته، وإن شئت غفرت له".

"تدرون ما يقول ربكم؟ يقول: من صلى الصلاة لوقتها, وحافظ عليها, ولم يضيعها استخفافا بحقها, فله عليَّ عهد أن أدخله الجنة, ومن لم يصلها لوقتها, ولم يحافظ عليها وضيعها - استخفافا بحقها - فلا عهد له عليَّ؛ إن شئت غفرت له, وإن شئت عذبته".
