[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Whoever visits a sick person, he is actually diving in mercy. When he sits near the sick, mercy surrounds him." So, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, is it the righteous person who visits the sick, or what does the sick person gain?" He replied, "His sins are forgiven.”

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ عَادَ مَرِيضًا فَإِنَّمَا يَخُوضُ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ فَإِذَا قَعَدَ عِنْدَ الْمَرِيضِ غَمَرَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَذَا الصَّحِيحُ الَّذِي يَعُودُ الْمَرِيضَ فَالْمَرِيضُ مَا لَهُ؟ قَالَ تُحَطُّ عَنْهُ ذُنُوبُهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever visits a sick person will continue to plunge into mercy until he sits down. When he sits down, he will be completely immersed in it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَزَلْ يَخُوضُ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فَإِذَا جَلَسَ اغْتَمَسَ فِيهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When visiting a sick person, one should immerse oneself in mercy." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his hand on his thigh and said, "This is how one should approach and depart (when visiting the sick). And when sitting beside him, mercy envelops him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَائِدُ الْمَرِيضِ يَخُوضُ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ وَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدَهُ عَلَى وَرِكِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا مُقْبِلًا وَمُدْبِرًا وَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ غَمَرَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever visits a sick person, he continues to be enshrouded in mercy until he sits down. Then, when he sits down, he is submerged in it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَزَلْ يَخُوضُ الرَّحْمَةَ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فَإِذَا جَلَسَ اغْتَمَسَ فِيهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah said, "The one who visits the sick is immersed in mercy." The Messenger of Allah then placed his hands on his knees and said, "When you sit with the sick, mercy surrounds him. And it is essential to the complete visitation of the sick that one of you places his hand on his face or his hand, and asks him how he is. The fullness of your love for one another is expressed through shaking hands."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «عَائِدُ الْمَرِيضِ يَخُوضُ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ» وَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «فَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ غَمَرَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَمِنْ تَمَامِ عِيَادَةِ الْمَرِيضِ أَنْ يَضَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ أَوْ عَلَى يَدِهِ فَيَسْأَلَهُ كَيْفَ هُوَ وَتَمَامُ مَحَبَّتِكُمْ بَيْنَكُمِ الْمُصَافَحَةُ»

[AI] The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Whoever visits a sick person, it is as if he is plunging into mercy, and when he sits with him, he is interceding for him."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مِنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا خَاضَ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ فَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ اسْتَشْفَعَ فِيهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever visits a sick person will continue to wade in the mercy of Allah until he sits down. And when he sits down, he becomes immersed in it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَزَلْ يَخُوضُ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فَإِذَا جَلَسَ يُغْمَسُ فِيهَا

"إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذا خَرَجَ يَعودُ أخًا لهُ مُؤمِنًا خَاضَ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ إِلى حَقْوَيه فَإِذا جَلسَ عِنْدَ الْمَريض فاسْتَوى جَالِسًا غَمرَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ".

"إِنَّ عائدَ المريضِ يَخُوضُ فِى الرحمَةِ فإِذا جَلَسَ غَمَرَتْهُ".

"أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ عَادَ مَرِيضًا فَإِنَّمَا يَخُوضُ في الرَّحْمَةِ، فَإِذَا قَعَدَ عِنْدَ المريض غَمَرتْه الرَّحمَةُ ".

"عائدُ المريِض فِي مَخْرفَةِ الجنَّةِ, فإِذَا جَلَس عِنْدَهُ غَمَرتْه الرحمةُ".

"مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَزَلْ يَخُوضُ الرَّحْمَةَ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ، فَإِذَا جَلَسَ اغْتَمَسَ فِيهَا".

"مَنْ عَادَ مَريضًا خَاضَ في الرَّحْمَةِ فَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ اسْتَنْقَعَ فِيهَا".

"مَنْ عَادَ مَريضًا يَلْتَمِسُ وَجْهَ اللهِ خَاضَ فِي رَحْمَةِ اللهِ خَوْضًا، فَإِذَا قَعَدَ عِنْدَهُ اسْتَنْقَعَ فِيهَا اسْتِنْقَاعًا".

"مَنْ عَادَ الْمَريضَ خَاضَ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ، فَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ اغْتَمَسَ فِيهَا".

"مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا خَاضَ في الرَّحْمَةِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَهُ، فَإذَا قَعَدَ عنْدَهُ غَمَرَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ".

"عَنْ أنَسٍ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ يقولُ: أيُّمَا رَجُل عَادَ مَريضًا فَإنَّمَا يَخُوضُ فِى الرَّحْمَةِ، فَإِذَا قَعَدَ عِنْدَ المريض غَمَرَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ. هَذَا لِلصَّحِيح، فَمَا لِلمَرِيضِ؟ قَالَ: تُحَطُّ عَنْه ذُنُوُبهُ".
