Collected by Bukhārī, Abū Dāwūd, Aḥmad, Ḥākim, Ṭabarānī, Nasāʾī's Kubrá, Suyūṭī(the slave of 'Uthman) I saw 'Uthman bin 'Affan asking for a tumbler of water (and when it was brought) he poured water over his hands and washed them thrice and then put his right hand in the water container and rinsed his mouth, washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out. then he washed his face and forearms up to the elbows thrice, passed his wet hands over his head and washed his feet up to the ankles thrice. Then he said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ said 'If anyone performs ablution like that of mine and offers a two-rak'at prayer during which he does not think of anything else (not related to the present prayer) then his past sins will be forgiven.' "
أَنَّهُ رَأَى عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ دَعَا بِإِنَاءٍ فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى كَفَّيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَمِينَهُ فِي الإِنَاءِ فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثًا وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلاَثَ مِرَارٍ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لاَ يُحَدِّثُ فِيهِمَا نَفْسَهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ
Anyone who performs ablution and performs his ablution well, and then he offers two rak’ahs of prayers in a way that he does not forget ( anything in it), will be forgiven all his past sins.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ وُضُوءَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لاَ يَسْهُو فِيهِمَا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ
[Machine] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever performs ablution perfectly and then prays without any distractions or heedlessness, will have his previous sins forgiven.' Yahya (a narrator) said, 'Once his sins are forgiven, they will be forgiven even if there were many evil deeds committed before it.'"

I came to ‘Uthman bin ʿAffan ؓ when he was sitting in al-Maqaʿid. He did wudoo and did it well, then he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he was in this place; he did wudoo’ and did it well, then he said: “Whoever does wudoo’ as I have done, then goes to the mosque and prays two rakats, his previous sins will be forgiven.” And he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿDo not become complacent.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 459)
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْوُضُوءِ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَكَعَ فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»
"مَنْ تَوضأَ نَحو وضُوئي هَذَا، ثم صلى ركعتين لا يحدث فيهما نَفْسَهُ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ من ذَنْبِهِ".
"مَنْ توضأَ مِثْلَ وُضوئي هَذَا ثم قَام فصلى ركعتين لا يُحَدِّثُ فيهما نَفْسَهُ بشيءٍ غُفِرَ له ما تَقَدَّم من ذنبهِ".
"مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الوُضُوءَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَات لَا يَسْهُو فِيهِنَّ غُفِرَ لَهُ".
