"عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَعَلَى الخِمَارِ - يَعْنِى: الْعِمَامَةَ".

It was narrated from Ja'far bin 'Amr bin Umayyah Ad-Damri that his father saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing Wudu' and wiping over his Khuffs.
أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ
