Aisha wanted to buy a slave-girl in order to manumit her. The girl's masters stipulated that her Wala' would be for them. Messenger of Allah ﷺ said (to ʿAisha), "What they stipulate should not stop you, for the Wala' is for the liberator."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يَمْنَعُكِ ذَلِكِ فَإِنَّمَا الْوَلاَءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Wala' is for the manumitted (of the slave).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّمَا الْوَلاَءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ

Malik related to me from Zayd ibn Aslam that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give to a beggar even if he comes on a horse."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَعْطُوا السَّائِلَ وَإِنْ جَاءَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ

Malik related to me from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that A'isha umm al-muminin wanted to buy a slave-girl and set her free. Her people said, "We will sell her to you provided that her wala' is ours." She mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said, "Don't let that hinder you, for the wala' only belongs to the one who sets free."

أَنَّ وَلاَءَهَا لَنَا فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لاَ يَمْنَعَنَّكِ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّمَا الْوَلاَءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ

[Machine] The translation of the sentence into English is: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Loyalty is for the one who emancipates.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ

[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Al-Wala' (loyalty, allegiance) is for the one who sets free.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ

[Machine] The translation of the provided text into English is: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ decreed that loyalty is to be given to those who have been freed."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَضَى أَنَّ الْوَلَاءَ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Allegiance is for whoever emancipates."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ said, "Loyalty is for those who set others free."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Loyalty belongs to the one who frees (a slave)."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Wala' is for the manumitted (of the slave). (Using translation from Bukhārī 6752)

صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا يَمْنَعُكِ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّمَا الْوَلاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ
