It was narrated from ʿAli ؓ that The Prophet ﷺ prayed four [rakʿahs] before Zuhr. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1258)   

الكبرى للنسائي:٣٣٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي الْمَضَاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ أَرْبَعًا»
