Um Salama said, "Um Sulaim said, 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Allah does not refrain from saying the truth! Is it obligatory for a woman to take a bath after she gets nocturnal discharge?' He said, 'Yes, if she notices the water (i.e. discharge).' Um Salama smiled and said, 'Does a woman get discharge?' Allah's Apostle said. 'Then why does a child resemble (its mother)?" (Using translation from Bukhārī 3328)
28.36 [Machine] Who felt shy and commanded others, then asked
I felt shy of asking about prostatic fluid from the Apostle ﷺ because of Fatimah. I, therefore, asked al-Miqdad (to ask on my behalf) and he asked. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Ablution is obligatory in such a case. (Using translation from Muslim 303b)
28.37 [Machine] Boldness in preaching.
We were sitting at the door of Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) waiting for him (to come out and deliver a sermon to us). It was at this time that there happened to pass by us Yazid b. Mu'awiya an-Nakha'i. We said: Inform him ('Abdullah b. Mas'ud) of our presence here. He went in and Abdullah b. Mas'ud lost no time in coming out to us and said: I was informed of your presence here but nothing hindered me to come out to you but the fact that I did not like to bore you (by stuffing your minds with sermons) as Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not deliver us sermon on certain days fearing that it might prove to be boring for us. (Using translation from Muslim 2821a)
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Facilitate things to people (concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam). (Using translation from Bukhārī 69)
28.38 [Machine] Anger in preaching and teaching when a scholar sees what he dislikes.
A man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! By Allah, I keep away from the morning prayer only because So and so prolongs the prayer when he leads us in it." The narrator said, "I never saw Allah's Apostle more furious in giving advice than he was at that time. He then said, "Some of you make people dislike good deeds (the prayer). So whoever among you leads the people in prayer should shorten it because among them are the weak, the old and the needy." (Using translation from Bukhārī 702)
"In his Khutbah the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to praise Allah as He deserves to be praised, then he would say: 'Whomsoever Allah (SWT) guides, none can lead him astray, and whomsoever Allah sends astray, none can guide. The truest of word is the Book of Allah and best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. The worst of things are those that are newly invented; every newly-invented thing is an innovation and every innovation is going astray, and every going astray is in the Fire.' Then he said: 'The Hour and I have been sent like these two.' Whenever he mentioned the Hour, his cheeks would turn red, and he would raise his voice and become angry, as if he were warning of an approaching army and saying: 'An army is coming to attack you in the morning, or in the evening!' (Then he said): 'Whoever leaves behind wealth, it is for his family, and whoever leaves behind a debt or dependents, then these are my responsibility, and I am the most entitled to take care of the believers.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1578)

I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was leaning against his sheet cloak in the shade of the Kaʿba. We were suffering greatly from the pagans in those days. i said (to him). "Will you invoke Allah (to help us)?" He sat down with a red face and said, "(A believer among) those who were before you used to be combed with iron combs so that nothing of his flesh or nerves would remain on his bones; yet that would never make him desert his religion. A saw might be put over the parting of his head which would be split into two parts, yet all that would never make him abandon his religion. Allah will surely complete this religion (i.e. Islam) so that a traveler from Sana to Hadra-maut will not be afraid of anybody except Allah." (The sub-narrator, Baiyan added, "Or the wolf, lest it should harm his sheep.") (Using translation from Bukhārī 3852)

28.39 [Machine] The sermon of the Imam for women and their education
“I heard Ibn ‘Abbas say: ‘I bear witness that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed before the sermon, then he delivered the sermon. And he thought that the women had not heard, so he went over to them and reminded them (of Allah) and preached to them and enjoined them to give in charity, and Bilal was spreading his hands like this, and the women started giving their earrings, rings and things.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1273)
"I attended the prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of 'Eid. He started with the prayer before the Khutbah, with no Adhan and no Iqamah. When he finished the prayer, he stood leaning on Bilal, and he praised and glorified Allah (SWT) and exhorted the people, reminding them and urging them to obey Allah (SWT). Then he moved away and went to the women, and Bilal was with him. He commanded them to fear Allah (SWT) and exhorted them and reminded them. He praised and glorified Allah, then he urged them to obey Allah, then he said: 'Give charity, for most of you are the fuel of Hell.' A lowly woman with dark cheeks said: 'Why, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'You complain a great deal and are ungrateful to your husbands.' They started taking off their necklaces, earrings and rings, throwing them into Bilal's garment, giving them in charity." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1575)
28.40 [Machine] Does the world make a day for women in pursuit of knowledge?
[Machine] It was said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Men have taken precedence over us, so appoint a day for us when we can come to you and he advises and delivers sermons to us." He commanded them and advised them, saying, "Any woman among you who loses three children, they will be a barrier for her from the Fire." A woman said, "Even two, O Messenger of Allah." He replied, "Even two."
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, a woman said to the Prophet, may peace and blessings be upon him, "Make a day for us from you." He said, "A day such and such, in a place such and such." So he went to them and taught them the Sunnah. And he said, "Indeed, whenever a woman advances between two men, they become a barrier for her from the Fire." A woman asked, "O Messenger of Allah, does this apply to one or two men?" He remained silent. She asked again, "O Messenger of Allah, does this apply to one or two men?" He said, "Or two men."
[Machine] A woman said, "We are unable to attend your gathering with men, so give us a specific day and we will come to you." He said, "Your rendezvous is at the house of so and so." So they went to him and while they were talking to him, one of the women asked him, "If a woman loses three children, would she enter Paradise?" He replied, "Yes, she would enter Paradise." The woman then asked, "Or two?" He replied, "Or two."

While Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in the mosque with some people, three men came. Two of them came in front of Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the third one went away. The two persons kept on standing before Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a while and then one of them found a place in the circle and sat there while the other sat behind the gathering, and the third one went away. When Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his preaching, he said, "Shall I tell you about these three persons? One of them betook himself to Allah, so Allah took him into His grace and mercy and accommodated him, the second felt shy from Allah, so Allah sheltered Him in His mercy (and did not punish him), while the third turned his face from Allah and went away, so Allah turned His face from him likewise. " (Using translation from Bukhārī 66)

The third person left. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I inform you about these individuals?" They replied, "Yes." He said, "As for the one who came and sat down, he is a man who sought refuge, so Allah provided him refuge. And as for the one who sat behind you, he felt ashamed, so Allah felt ashamed of him. Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, 'The residents of Medina should assure the Ihram from Dhil-Hulaifa, the people of Syria from Al-Juhfa and the people of Najd from Qarn." Ibn ʿUmar further said, "The people consider that Messenger of Allah ﷺ had also said, 'The residents of Yemen should assume Ihram from Yalamlam.'
28.47 [Machine] How is knowledge elevated?
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it away from the scholars, but He takes away knowledge by taking away the scholars until there remains no scholar, and people take ignorant ones as leaders who are asked and they give fatwas without knowledge, thus they go astray and lead others astray." Abdul Wahab said, "So I met Hisham ibn Urwah and he told me from his father from Abdullah ibn Amr from the Prophet ﷺ something similar to this."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, Allah does not take away knowledge from people after He has given it to them. Rather, He takes away knowledge by taking away the scholars. Whenever a scholar dies, a part of knowledge goes with him, until there remains no one who knows. Then people will follow ignorant leaders, who will lead them astray."
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , looked at the sky one day, and said, "This is the time when knowledge is elevated." So, a man from the Ansar, whose name was Labid ibn Ziyad, said, "O Messenger of Allah, is knowledge elevated even though it has been established and engraved in the hearts?" The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to him, "If I were to consider anyone among the people of Madinah to be the most knowledgeable, it would be you." Then, he mentioned to him the misguidance of the Jews and Christians regarding what is in their hands from the Book of Allah. He said, "So, I met Shaddad ibn Aws, and I narrated to him the Hadith of Awf ibn Malik. He said, 'Awf spoke the truth. Shall I inform you about the first thing that is elevated?' I said, 'Yes, please.' He said, 'It is humility until you do not see a person in a state of humility.'"
28.48 [Machine] Whoever learns knowledge for other than Allah
The Prophet said: "Whoever seeks knowledge for a reason other than the sake of Allah, or intends it for a purpose other than for the sake of Allah, let him take his place in hell." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 258)
28.49 [Machine] He who learned to be called so and so is knowledgeable.
28.50 [Machine] Who lied about the Prophet of Allah ﷺ?
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , said, "Do not lie about me, for whoever lies about me will enter the Fire." And Muhammad said, "Whoever lies about me...".
I said to my father, az-Zubair bin al-Awwam ؓ : “Why donʿt you narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” He said: “I never left him since I became Muslim, but I heard him say something. He said: Whoever tells a lie about me, let him take his place in Hell.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 1428)
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his place in Hellfire." Abdullah Al-Warith said in his narration, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying..."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Fire." Anas narrated this twice, and then narrated it another time, saying, The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Fire."
