malik:2-30Mālik > Zayd b. Aslam > ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār > ʿAbdullāh al-Ṣunābiḥī

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar from Abdullah as-Sanabihi that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A trusting slave does wudu and as he rinses his mouth the wrong actions leave it. As he cleans his nose the wrong actions leave it. As he washes his face, the wrong actions leave it, even from underneath his eyelashes. As he washes his hands the wrong actions leave them, even from underneath his fingernails. As he wipes his head the wrong actions leave it, even from his ears. And as he washes his feet the wrong actions leave them, even from underneath the toenails of both his feet." He added, "Then his walking to the mosque and his prayer are an extra reward for him."

Then when he walks to the mosque and prays his voluntary prayer, I have been informed by Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz that he said: I heard Abu Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub say: I heard Al-Abbas ibn Muhammad Al-Duri say: I heard Yahya ibn Ma'in say: 'Ata ibn Yassar narrated from Abdullah Al-Sunabihi, also known as Abu Abdullah Al-Sanabehi, that he was a companion of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, and Al-Sunabehi was a companion of Qais ibn Abi Hazim, also known as Al-Sunabehi ibn Al-Asar. This is what Yahya ibn Ma'in said, and Al-Bukhari claimed that Malik ibn Anas is mistaken in this matter, and it is indeed Abu Abdullah Abdur-Rahman ibn Usayla Al-Sunabehi who narrated from Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. And Al-Sunabehi ibn Al-Asar is a companion of the Prophet ﷺ . Imam Ahmad also said, and this hadith is mursal."

The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever performs ablution and rinses his mouth and nose, his sins will exit through his mouth and nose. When he washes his face, his sins will exit from his face, even from beneath his eyelids. When he washes his hands, his sins will exit from his hands. When he wipes his head, his sins will exit from his head, and even from his ears. When he washes his feet, his sins will exit from his feet, even from beneath his toenails. Then his prayer and walking towards the mosque will earn extra merit for him." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 282)

السيوطي:١٥٧١a
