ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ

“If they drink (again), then whip them. If they drink (again), then whip them. If they drink (again), then whip them. If they drink (again), then kill them.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2573)   

ابن حبّان:٤٤٤٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْخَلِيلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ»

[Machine] "He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'If a person drinks, whip him; and if he drinks again, whip him; and if he drinks again, whip him four or five times; and if he drinks again, kill him.'"

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا شَرِبَ الرَّجُلُ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ أَرْبَعَ مِرَارٍ أَوْ خَمْسَ مِرَارٍ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْخَمْرُ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَافَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ عِنْدَ الرَّابِعَةِ  

ahmad:7762 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Suhayl b. Abū Ṣāliḥ from his father > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever drinks alcohol, then flog him. And if he drinks it again, then flog him. And if he drinks it again, then flog him. And if he drinks it for the fourth time, then kill him."  

أحمد:٧٧٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ فَاقْتُلُوهُ  

hakim:8119 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Salām > Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > Muʿādh b. Hishām from my father > Qatādah > Shahr b. Ḥawshab > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said regarding alcohol: 'If they drink it, then flog them. If they drink it again, then flog them. If they drink it again, then flog them. And if they drink it again, then kill them on the fourth occasion.' Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary."  

الحاكم:٨١١٩ – فَحَدَّثْنَاهُ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنْبَأَ مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي الْخَمْرِ «إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبُوهَا فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ عِنْدَ الرَّابِعَةِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص  

suyuti:2037a –

The Prophet ﷺ said: If they (the people) drink wine, flog them, again if they drink it, flog them. Again if they drink it, kill them. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4482)   

السيوطي:٢٠٣٧a –

"إِذَا شَربُوا الخمْرَ فاجِلدُوهُم، ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبوها فاجلدُوهُمْ ثمَّ إِنْ شربُوها فاجلدوهم، ثم إِنْ شربوها فاقْتُلُوهم".
