[Machine] He said, "I have been stabbed." He continued, "Indeed, I have seen in Al-Jadd (a city) a vision. So, if you see fit to follow it, then Osman said, 'If we follow your opinion, it is a righteous one. And if we follow the opinion of the sheikh before you, then he was indeed a well-guided one.'"

الحاكم:٧٩٨٣ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ ثَنَا عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ مَرْوَانَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عُمَرَ حِينَ

طُعِنَ قَالَ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ فِي الْجَدِّ رَأَيًا فَإِنْ رَأَيْتُمْ أَنْ تَتَّبِعُوهُ فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ «إِنْ نَتَّبِعْ رَأْيَكَ فَهُوَ رَشَدٌ وَإِنْ نَتَّبِعْ رَأْيَ الشَّيْخِ قَبْلَكَ فَنِعْمَ ذُو الرَّأْيِ كَانَ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم

"عن مروان: أَنَّ عمَرَ حِينَ طُعنَ قال: إِنِّى كُنْت قَضَيْتُ في الجَدِّ قَضَايَا، فَإِنْ شِئْتمْ أَنْ تَأخُذوا بِهِ فَافْعَلُوا، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُثْمَانُ: إِنْ نَتَّبعْ رَأيَكَ فَإِنَّ رَأيَكَ رُشْدٌ، وَإِنْ نَتَّبعْ رَأى الشَّيْخِ قبلَكَ فَنِعْمَ ذُو الرَّأى كَانَ".
