The Messenger of Allah ﷺ contacted and embraced his wives over the waist-wrapper when they were menstruating.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُبَاشِرُ نِسَاءَهُ فَوْقَ الإِزَارِ وَهُنَّ حُيَّضٌ
