Whenever somebody brought alms to the Prophet ﷺ the used to say, "Allahumma Salli 'Alaihi (O Allah! Send Your Salat (Grace and Honor) on him)." Once when my father brought his alms to him, he said, "O Allah! Send Your Salat (Grace and Honor) on the family of Abi ʿAufa."  

البخاري:٦٣٥٩ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ

(Who was one of those who had given the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ beneath the Tree) When the people brought Sadaqa (i.e. rakʿat) to the Prophet ﷺ he used to say, "O Allah! Bless them with your Mercy." Once my father came with his Sadaqa to him whereupon he (i.e. the Prophet) said. "O Allah! Bless the family of Abu ʿAufa."

abudawud:1590 – Ḥafṣ b. ʿUmar al-Namarī And ʾAbū al-Walīd al-Ṭayālisī al-Maʿná > Shuʿbah > ʿAmr b. Murrah > ʿAbdullāh b. Abū Awfá

My father was one of those Companions who took the oath of allegiance at the hand of the Prophet ﷺ beneath the tree. The Prophet ﷺ said when the people brought him their sadaqah : O Allah, bless the family of so and so. When my father brought him his sadaqah he said O Allah bless the family of Abu Awfa.

الكبرى للنسائي:٢٢٥١ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلَانٍ» فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتَهِ فَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى»

[Machine] When a group of people came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with their charity, he would say, "O Allah, bless them." Then, his father came to him with a charity, and he said, "O Allah, bless the family of my father."  

البيهقي:٢٨٧٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي الْوَلِيدِ قَالَا ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الشَّجَرَةِ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَاتِهِمْ قَالَ اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَةٍ فَقَالَ اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَرْبٍ وَغَيْرِهِ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ
