Whenever a man brought his alms to the Prophet, the Prophet ﷺ would say, "O Allah! Bestow Your Blessing upon the family of so-and-so." When my father came to him (with his alms), he said, "O Allah! Bestow Your Blessings upon the family of Abi ʿAufa."
سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ؓ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ بِصَدَقَةٍ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلاَنٍ فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى
Whenever somebody brought alms to the Prophet ﷺ the used to say, "Allahumma Salli 'Alaihi (O Allah! Send Your Salat (Grace and Honor) on him)." Once when my father brought his alms to him, he said, "O Allah! Send Your Salat (Grace and Honor) on the family of Abi ʿAufa."
كَانَ إِذَا أَتَى رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِصَدَقَتِهِ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ» فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى.»
(Who was one of those who had given the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ beneath the Tree) When the people brought Sadaqa (i.e. rakʿat) to the Prophet ﷺ he used to say, "O Allah! Bless them with your Mercy." Once my father came with his Sadaqa to him whereupon he (i.e. the Prophet) said. "O Allah! Bless the family of Abu ʿAufa."
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَةٍ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى
Whenever a person came to the Prophet ﷺ with his alms, the Prophet ﷺ would say, "O Allah! Send your Blessings upon so and so." My father went to the Prophet ﷺ with his alms and the Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah! Send your blessings upon the offspring of Abu Aufa."
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلاَنٍ فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى
O Allah, bless them. So when Abu Aufa brought to him Sadaqa he (the Holy Prophet) said: O Allah, bless, the posterity of Abu Aufa.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي أَبُو أَوْفَى بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى
"When people brought their Zakah to him, the Messenger of Allah would say: 'O Allah, send salah upon the family of so-and-so,' My father brought his Sadaqah to him and he said: 'O Allah, send Salah upon the family of Abu Awfa."'
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلاَنٍ فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى
My father was one of those Companions who took the oath of allegiance at the hand of the Prophet ﷺ beneath the tree. The Prophet ﷺ said when the people brought him their sadaqah : O Allah, bless the family of so and so. When my father brought him his sadaqah he said O Allah bless the family of Abu Awfa.
كَانَ أَبِي مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الشَّجَرَةِ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلاَنٍ قَالَ فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى

[Machine] I heard the son of Abu Awfa say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when the people of his household gave him charity, would pray for them. So my father gave him charity and he said, "O Allah, send blessings upon the family of Abu Awfa."
سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَصَدَّقَ إِلَيْهِ أَهْلُ بَيْتٍ بِصَدَقَةٍ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِمْ قَالَ فَتَصَدَّقَ أَبِي إِلَيْهِ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَقَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى»
