Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Both the buyer and the seller have the option of canceling or confirming a bargain unless they separate, or the sale is optional." (See Hadith No.320).

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Each one of the two parties in a business has an option (to annul it) against the other party so long as they have not separated, except in a conditional bargain.

malik:31-81Yaḥyá > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Both parties in a business transaction have the right of withdrawal as long as they have not separated, except in the transaction called khiyar." Malik said, "There is no specified limit nor any matter which is applied in this case according to us."  

مالك:٣١-٨١حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قالَ: «المُتَبايِعانِ كُلُّ واحِدٍ مِنهُما بِالخِيارِ عَلى صاحِبِهِ، ما لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقا إلّا بَيْعَ الخِيارِ» قالَ مالِكٌ: «ولَيْسَ لِهَذا عِنْدَنا حَدٌّ مَعْرُوفٌ، ولا أمْرٌ مَعْمُولٌ بِهِ فِيهِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The two parties to a transaction have the option (of cancelling it) so long as they have not parted or there is a condition which gives the option to cancel.ʿ
