78.103 Saying "let my father and mother be sacrificed for you".

٧٨۔١٠٣ باب قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ فَدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي

[Machine] In English, the translation of the given phrase is: "Zubair reported from the Prophet ﷺ."

فِيهِ الزُّبَيْرُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ.

I never heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you," except for Saʿd (bin Abi Waqqas). I heard him saying, "Throw! (arrows), Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you !" (The sub-narrator added, "I think that was in the battle of Uhud.")

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُفَدِّي أَحَدًا غَيْرَ سَعْدٍ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ارْمِ فَدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي أَظُنُّهُ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ
