Al-Aswad said, "I asked 'A'isha, may Allah be pleased with her, 'What did the Prophet ﷺ do when he was with his family?' She replied, 'He would do chores for his family, and when it was time for the prayer, he would go out.'"

عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي أَهْلِهِ؟ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاةُ خَرَجَ

That he asked ʿAisha "What did the Prophet ﷺ use to do in his house?" She replied, "He used to keep himself busy serving his family and when it was the time for prayer he would go for it."

سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ فِي بَيْتِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ تَعْنِي خِدْمَةَ أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ

I asked ʿAisha "What did the Prophet ﷺ use to do at home?" She said, "He used to work for his family, and when he heard the Adhan (call for the prayer), he would go out."

عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ ؓ مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ فِي الْبَيْتِ قَالَتْ كَانَ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا سَمِعَ الأَذَانَ خَرَجَ

I asked ʿAisha what did the Prophet ﷺ use to do at home. She replied. "He used to keep himself busy serving his family and when it was time for the prayer, he would get up for prayer."

سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ فِي أَهْلِهِ قَالَتْ كَانَ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ

"I said to Aishah: 'What would the Prophet ﷺ do when he entered his house?' She said: 'He would busy himself with serving his family, then when (the time for) Salat was due he would stand (to go) for it.'"

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَىُّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ إِذَا دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ قَالَتْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلاَةُ قَامَ فَصَلَّى

[AI] I asked Aisha, "What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do in his household?" She replied, "He would engage in the affairs of his family, but when the time for prayer came, he would go out to perform the prayer."

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ فِي أَهْلِهِ؟ قَالَتْ كَانَ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ

[AI] I asked Aisha how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to act. She replied, "He used to be engaged in the affairs of his family, and when it was time for prayer, he would go out and perform it."

سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ كَيْفَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى

I said to A'ishah (God be pleased with her):

"Which things did God's Messenger ﷺ do when he entered his house?"

She said:

"He used to be [involved] in his family's jobs, then whenever the prayer entered, he would leave to pray [at the mosque]"

قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ ؓ أَيُّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ؟ قَالَتْ «كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى»
