"O Messenger of Allah! A man does a deed and conceals it, but when it is discovered that he did it, he is happy about that." He said: " The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'He receives two rewards: A reward in its concealment, and a reward in its publicity.'"

رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الرَّجُلُ يَعْمَلُ الْعَمَلَ فَيُسِرُّهُ فَإِذَا اطُّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ أَعْجَبَهُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ أَجْرُ السِّرِّ وَأَجْرُ الْعَلاَنِيَةِ

“A man said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, I do a good deed, then others find out about it and that pleases me.’ He said: ‘You will have two rewards, the reward for doing it in secret and the reward for doing it openly (so that others may follow your example).’”

رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَعْمَلُ الْعَمَلَ فَيُطَّلَعُ عَلَيْهِ فَيُعْجِبُنِي قَالَ لَكَ أَجْرَانِ أَجْرُ السِّرِّ وَأَجْرُ الْعَلاَنِيَةِ

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَعْمَلُ الْعَمَلَ وَيُسِرُّهُ فَإِذَا اطُّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ سَرَّهُ؟ قَالَ «لَهُ أَجْرَانِ أَجْرُ السِّرِّ وَأَجْرُ الْعَلَانِيَةِ»

"عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله الرَّجُل يَعْملُ العمل يُسِره فَإِذَا اطَّلَعَ عَلَيْه أَعْجَبهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ لَكَ أَجَرَانِ: أَجْر السِّرِّ وَأَجْر الْعَلَانِيَة".
