[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if it wasn't difficult for the believers, I wouldn't have stayed behind from leading an expedition in the path of Allah. However, I don't find the means to carry them, and they don't find the means to follow me. And it doesn't please them to stay behind after me.'"

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ فِي يَدِهِ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَا قَعَدْتُ خَلْفَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَلَكِنْ لَا أَجِدُ سَعَةً فَأَحْمِلَهُمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ سَعَةً فَيَتَّبِعُونِي وَلَا تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَقْعُدُوا بَعْدِي

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if it were not difficult for my Ummah, I would not have sat behind any military expedition that set out in the cause of Allah ﷻ. But I cannot find anything to carry them and they cannot find enough means to follow me. And their souls dislike to stay behind me after I have gone."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي مَا قَعَدْتُ خِلَافَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ وَلَكِنْ لَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُهُمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ سَعَةً فَيَتْبَعُونِي وَلَا تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا بَعْدِي

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, were it not for the fact that there are some believing men who would not feel happy to stay behind (when I go out on a campaign) and I do not have the means to provide them with mounts (so that they cn join me), I would not have stayed behind from any campaign or battle in the cause of Allah. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I wish that I could be killed in the cause of Allah, then brought back to life, then be killed, then be brought back to life, then be killed then be brought back to life, then be killed.'" قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي أُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَأُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلَ ثُمَّ أُحْيَا ثُمَّ أُقْتَلَ وَلَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَا تَخَلَّفْتُ خَلْفَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَخْرُجُ أَوْ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَلَكِنْ لَا أَجِدُ سَعَةً فَأَحْمِلَهُمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ سَعَةً فَيَتَّبِعُونِي وَلَا تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا بَعْدِي أَوْ يَقْعُدُوا بَعْدِي

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if it were not for the hardship on the Muslims, I would never stay behind any army that goes out for the cause of Allah. However, I do not find the means to transport them and they do not find the means to travel, so they leave, while it is difficult for them to be left behind after me. And by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, I wish that I could fight in the cause of Allah, then be killed, then brought back to life, and then be killed again." He repeated this statement three times.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ مَا قَعَدْتُ خَلْفَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَبَدًا وَلَكِنْ لَا أَجِدُ سَعَةً فَأَحْمِلُهُمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ سَعَةً فَيَخْرُجُونَ وَيَشُقُّ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا بَعْدِي وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي أَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَأُقْتَلُ ثُمَّ أَحْيَا فَأُقْتَلُ» قَالَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثًا

[Machine] And from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if it were not difficult for the believers, I would have sat on a military expedition to fight in the cause of Allah. But I do not find the means to carry them and they do not find the means to follow me, and their souls are not content to stay behind after me."

وَعَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنْ قَعَدْتُ خِلَافَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَلَكِنْ لَا أَجِدُ سَعَةً فَأَحْمِلَهُمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ سَعَةً فَيَتَّبِعُونِي وَلَا تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَقْعُدُوا بَعْدِي

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: By the One in whose hand is my soul, if it were not difficult for the believers, I would not have stayed behind from leading a military expedition in the cause of Allah. But I do not find the means to carry them, and they do not find the means to follow me, and their souls do not feel content to stay behind after me."

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَا قَعَدْتُ خَلْفَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَلَكِنْ لَا أَجِدُ سَعَةً فَأَحْمِلَهُمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ سَعَةً فَيَتَّبِعُونِي وَلَا تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَقْعُدُوا بَعْدِي

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لولا أن أشق على أمتي ما تخلفت خلف سرية تخرج وَلكن لا أجد ما أحملهم عليه ولاَ يجدون ما يتحملون به ويشق عليهم أن يتخلفوا عني ولوددت أني قتلت في سبيل الله ثُمَّ أحييت ثُمَّ قتلت ثُمَّ أحييت
