البزّار:٣٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ نا حَيْوَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ هُبَيْرَةَ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ تَوَكَّلُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ لَرَزَقَكُمْ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَأَحْسَبُ أَنَّ بَكْرَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ أَبِي تَمِيمٍ

Umar bin al Khattab heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ʿIf you were to put your trust in Allah as you should, you would be given provision like the birds: they go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 205)
