The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Allah, the Exalted, folded for me the earth, or he said (the narrator is doubtful): My Lord folded for me the earth, so much so that I saw its easts and wests (i.e. the extremities). The kingdom of my community will reach as far as the earth was folded for me. The two treasures, the red and the white, were bestowed on me.

I prayed to my Lord that He may not destroy my community by prevailing famine, and not give their control to an enemy who annihilates then en masse except from among themselves. My Lord said to me: Muhammad, If I make a decision, it is not withdrawn ; and I shall not destroy them by prevailing famine, and I shall not give their control to an enemy, except from among themselves, who exterminates them en masse, even if they are stormed from all sides of the earth ; only a section of them will destroy another section, and a section will captive another section.

I am afraid about my community of those leaders who will lead astray. When the sword is used among my people, it will not be withdrawn from them till the Day of Resurrection, and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my people attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my people worship idols. There will be among my people thirty great liars each of them asserting that he is (Allah's) prophet, where as I am the seal of the Prophet s after whom (me) there will be no prophet ; and a section of my people will continue to hold to the truth۔"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ زَوَى لِيَ الأَرْضَ أَوْ قَالَ إِنَّ رَبِّي زَوَى لِيَ الأَرْضَ فَرَأَيْتُ مَشَارِقَهَا وَمَغَارِبَهَا وَإِنَّ مُلْكَ أُمَّتِي سَيَبْلُغُ مَا زُوِيَ لِي مِنْهَا وَأُعْطِيتُ الْكَنْزَيْنِ الأَحْمَرَ وَالأَبْيَضَ

وَإِنِّي سَأَلْتُ رَبِّي لأُمَّتِي أَنْ (١) لاَ يُهْلِكَهَا بِسَنَةٍ بِعَامَّةٍ، (٢) وَلاَ يُسَلِّطَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا مِنْ سِوَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَيَسْتَبِيحَ بَيْضَتَهُمْ۔ وَإِنَّ رَبِّي قَالَ لِي: يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنِّي إِذَا قَضَيْتُ قَضَاءً فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يُرَدُّ: (١) وَلاَ أُهْلِكُهُمْ بِسَنَةٍ بِعَامَّةٍ، (٢) وَلاَ أُسَلِّطُ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا مِنْ سِوَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَيَسْتَبِيحَ بَيْضَتَهُمْ وَلَوِ اجْتَمَعَ عَلَيْهِمْ مَنْ بَيْنَ أَقْطَارِهَا أَوْ قَالَ بِأَقْطَارِهَا حَتَّى يَكُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ يُهْلِكُ بَعْضًا وَحَتَّى يَكُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ يَسْبِي بَعْضًا۔

وَإِنَّمَا أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي الأَئِمَّةَ الْمُضِلِّينَ وَإِذَا وُضِعَ السَّيْفُ فِي أُمَّتِي لَمْ يُرْفَعْ عَنْهَا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَلْحَقَ قَبَائِلُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي بِالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَحَتَّى تَعْبُدَ قَبَائِلُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الأَوْثَانَ وَإِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ فِي أُمَّتِي كَذَّابُونَ ثَلاَثُونَ كُلُّهُمْ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ نَبِيٌّ وَأَنَا خَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّينَ لاَ نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي وَلاَ تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ

“The earth was brought together for me so that I could see the east and the west, and I was given two treasures, the yellow (or the red) and the white – meaning gold and silver. And it was said to me: ‘Your dominion will extend as far as has been shown to you.’ I asked Allah for three things: That my nation would not be overwhelmed by famine that would destroy them all, and that they would not be rent by schism and fight one another, but it was said to me: ‘When I (Allah) issue My decree it cannot be revoked. But I will never cause your nation to be overwhelmed by famine that would destroy them all, and I will not gather their enemies against them (and destroy them) until they annihilate one another and kill one another.’ Once they start to fight amongst themselves, that will continue until the Day of Resurrection. What I fear most for my nation is misguiding leaders. Some tribes among my nation will worship idols and some tribes among my nation will join the idolaters. Before the Hour comes there will be nearly thirty Dajjals (great liars), each of them claiming to be a Prophet. But a group among my nation will continue to adhere to the truth and be victorious, and those who oppose them will not harm them, until the command of Allah comes to pass.’”

عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ زُوِيَتْ لِيَ الأَرْضُ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ مَشَارِقَهَا وَمَغَارِبَهَا وَأُعْطِيتُ الْكَنْزَيْنِ الأَصْفَرَ أَوِ الأَحْمَرَ وَالأَبْيَضَ يَعْنِي الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَقِيلَ لِي إِنَّ مُلْكَكَ إِلَى حَيْثُ زُوِيَ لَكَ وَإِنِّي سَأَلْتُ اللَّهَ ﷻ ثَلاَثًا أَنْ لاَ يُسَلِّطَ عَلَى أُمَّتِي جُوعًا فَيُهْلِكَهُمْ بِهِ عَامَّةً وَأَنْ لاَ يَلْبِسَهُمْ شِيَعًا وَيُذِيقَ بَعْضَهُمْ بَأْسَ بَعْضٍ وَإِنَّهُ قِيلَ لِي إِذَا قَضَيْتُ قَضَاءً فَلاَ مَرَدَّ لَهُ وَإِنِّي لَنْ أُسَلِّطَ عَلَى أُمَّتِكَ جُوعًا فَيُهْلِكَهُمْ فِيهِ وَلَنْ أَجْمَعَ عَلَيْهِمْ مَنْ بَيْنَ أَقْطَارِهَا حَتَّى يُفْنِيَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا وَيَقْتُلَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا وَإِذَا وُضِعَ السَّيْفُ فِي أُمَّتِي فَلَنْ يُرْفَعَ عَنْهُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَإِنَّ مِمَّا أَتَخَوَّفُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي أَئِمَّةً مُضِلِّينَ وَسَتَعْبُدُ قَبَائِلُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الأَوْثَانَ وَسَتَلْحَقُ قَبَائِلُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي بِالْمُشْرِكِيِنَ وَإِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ السَّاعَةِ دَجَّالِينَ كَذَّابِينَ قَرِيبًا مِنْ ثَلاَثِينَ كُلُّهُمْ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ نَبِيٌّ وَلَنْ تَزَالَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ مَنْصُورِينَ لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ ﷻ قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ لَمَّا فَرَغَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ مَا أَهْوَلَهُ

[Machine] Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said: "Verily, Allah has shown me the entire earth, so I saw its east and west. And indeed, the dominion of my nation will reach that which was shown to me of it. And indeed, I have been given the two treasures, the white and the red. And I asked my Lord that my nation not be destroyed by a consecutive year of famine, and that they not be made to face an enemy who is not from them, who will destroy them en masse. And that they not be made to wear clothing of degradation, and that they not taste the punishment from one another." He ﷺ said: "O Muhammad, when I decree a matter, it cannot be reversed. And indeed, I have given you a guarantee for your nation that I will not destroy them with a consecutive year of famine, and I will not subject them to an enemy who is not from them, who will destroy them en masse. So that some of them are destroyed by others, and some of them are killed by others, and some of them are taken captive by others." He ﷺ said: "And indeed, I do not fear for my nation except for the misguided imams. When the sword is wielded among my nation, it is not lifted from them until the Day of Resurrection."

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah has shown me the entire earth until I saw its eastern and western boundaries, and He has given me the red and white treasures. Verily, the dominion of my Ummah will reach what has been shown to me from it. And I asked my Lord that He does not destroy them with a general destruction, and that He does not give their enemies from other than them the power to dominate them, so they are destroyed. And that He does not clothe them in division, causing one group to taste the suffering of another. So He said, 'O Muhammad, if I give a gift, there is no returning it. I have given to you for your Ummah that they shall not be destroyed with a general destruction, and I shall not give their enemies from other than them the power to dominate them and make them permissible. Even if all those from the ends of the earth gathered over them, such that some of them are destroyed, some captive, and some are agitated. And indeed, there will be some tribes from my Ummah that will return to idol worship and the worship of false deities. And indeed, the leaders of misguided will be from the most feared of things I fear for my Ummah. And if the sword is placed among them, it will not be raised until the Day of Resurrection. And indeed, there will emerge liars and imposters among my Ummah, close to the number of thirty. And indeed, I am the final seal of the Prophets, there is no Prophet after me. And there will always be a group from my Ummah who will be steadfast upon the truth, victorious, until the command of Allah comes."

When the sword is used among my people, it will not be withdrawn from them till the Day of Resurrection, and the Last Hour will not come before the tribes of my people attach themselves to the polytheists and tribes of my people worship idols. There will be among my people thirty great liars each of them asserting that he is (Allah's) prophet, where as I am the seal of the Prophet s after whom (me) there will be no prophet ; and a section of my people will continue to hold to the truth - (according to the Ibn Isa's version: (will continue to dominate) - the agreed version goes: "and will not be injured by those who oppose them, till Allah's command comes." (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4252)

"إِنَّ الله زَوَى لي الأرْضَ فرأَيتُ مَشَارِقَها ومَغَاربها، وإنَّ مُلْكَ أُمَّتي سَيَبْلُغُ ما زُوِيَ لي منها وَإِنِّي أُعْطِيتُ الكنْزينِ: الأَحْمَرَ والأَبْيَضَ وَإنِّي سَأَلْتُ رَبيِّ لأُمَّتي أنْ لَا يَهْلِكوُا بِسَنَةٍ عامَّةٍ، ولا يُسَلِّطَ عَلَيهِمْ عدُوًا مِنْ سِوَى أَنْفُسهمْ فَيَسْتَبيحَ بيضتَهُمْ، وإنّ ربِّي ﷻ قَال: يا محمدُ إِنِّي إِذا قضَيتُ قَضَاءً فَإِنَّهُ لا يُرَدُّ، وَإِنِّي أَعْطيتُكَ لأُمَّتِكَ أنْ لَا أُهْلِكَهُمْ بِسَنَةٍ عَامَّة، وأَن لا أُسَلِّطَ عَليهِمْ عَدُوًا من سوَى أَنْفُسهِمْ فيستبِيح بيضتَهُمْ، ولَو اجْتَمعَ علَيِهمْ مَنْ بَينَ أَقْطَارِهَا حتَّى يَكُونَ بَعْضُهُم يُفْنِي بَعْضًا، وَإنَّما أخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي الأَئمَّةَ الْمُضلِّينَ، وَإذا وُضع في أُمَّتي السَّيفُ لَمْ يُرْفَعْ عَنْهُمْ إِلى يَوْم الْقيامَةِ، وَلَا تَقومُ السَّاعَةُ حتَّى تَلْحَقَ قَبائل مِنْ أُمَّتِي بالمشركين؛ حتَّى تَعْبُدَ قَبائلُ من أُمَّتي الأوثان، وإنَّه سيكون في أُمَّتِي كذَّابُون ثلاثونُ، كلهم يَزْعُمُ أَنَّه نبِيّ، وأنا خَاتَمُ النبيِّين، لَا نَبِى بَعْدِى، ولا تزال طائفةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتي عَلَى الحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ لا يَضُرُّهُم مَنْ خَالفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتى أمْرُ الله".

" إِنَّ الله - ﷻ - زَوَى لىَ الأَرْضَ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ مَشَارِقَهَا وَمَغارِبَها، وَإِنَّ مُلكَ أُمَّتِى سَيَبْلُغُ مَا زُوىَ لِى فِيهَا (*)، وَإِنِّى أُعْطِيتُ الكَنْزَيْنِ الأَبْيَضَ وَالأَحْمَرَ، وَإِنِّى سَأَلْتُ ربِّى - ﷻ - أَنْ لاَ يُهْلِكَ أُمَّتِى بِسَنَة عَامَّةٍ، وَأَنْ لاَ يُسَلِّطَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا فَيُهْلِكَهُمْ بِعَامَّةً، وَلاَ يُلبِسَهُمْ شِيعًا، وَأَنْ لاَ يُذِيقَ بَعْضَهُمْ بَأسَ بَعْضٍ، فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ: إِنِّى قَدْ قَضَيْتُ قَضَاءً، فَإنَّهُ لاَ يُرَدُّ، وَإِنِّى قَدْ أَعْطَيْتُكَ لأُمَّتكَ أنْ لاَ أُهْلِكَهُمْ بِسَنَةٍ عَامَّةٍ، وَأنْ لاَ أُسَلِّطَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا مِمِّنْ سوَاهُمْ فَيُهْلِكهُمْ بِعَامَّة حَتَّىَ يَكُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ يُهْلكُ بَعْضًا وَبَعْضُهُمْ يُسْبِى بَعْضًا. إِنِّى لاَ أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِى إِلَّا الأَئِمَةً المُضِلِّينَ، فَإِذَا وَقَعَ السَّيْفُ فِى أُمَّتِى لَمْ يُرْفَعْ عَنْهُمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ القِيَامَة ".
