[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, and those who trim their hair?" He said, "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, and those who trim their hair?" He said, "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They said, "And those who trim their hair?" He said, "And those who trim their hair."  

البيهقي:٩٥٧٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ثنا عُمَارَةُ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

He said: O Allah, grant pardon to those who get their heads shaved. They said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who got their hair clipped? He said: O Allah, grant pardon to those who get their heads shaved. They said: Messenger of Allah, (what about those) who get their hair clipped? He said: (O Allah, grant pardon to) those who get their hair clipped.  

مسلم:١٣٠٢a – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ  

malik:20-196 – Yaḥyá > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, have mercy on those who shave their hair." They said, "And those who shorten (their hair), Messenger of Allah." He said, "O Allah, have mercy on those who shave." They said, "And those who shorten, Messenger of Allah." He said, "And those who shorten."  

مالك:٢٠-١٩٦ – حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ  

ahmad:17507 – Yaḥyá b. Ādam And Ibn Abū Bukayr > Isrāʾīl > Abū Isḥāq > Ḥubshī b. Junādah

[Machine] Yahya was one of those who witnessed the Farewell Pilgrimage. He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah, forgive the sacrificers." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about those who hold back and don't offer sacrifices?" He said: "O Allah, forgive the sacrificers." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about those who hold back and don't offer sacrifices?" He said: "O Allah, forgive the sacrificers." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what about those who hold back and don't offer sacrifices?" He said on the third time: "And the holdbackers."  

أحمد:١٧٥٠٧ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ وَابْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حُبْشِيِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ

يَحْيَى وَكَانَ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave their heads." It was asked, "What about those who trim their hair?" He said, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave their heads." It was asked again, "What about those who trim their hair?" He said, "O Allah, forgive the ones who shave their heads." It was asked for the fourth time, "And what about those who trim their hair?"  

الطبراني:٣٥١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبِلْجِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حَبَشِيِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قِيلَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قِيلَ وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ؟ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ» قَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ «وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ»
