bayhaqi:12395 – Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī b. Aḥmad b. ʿAbdān > Aḥmad b. ʿUbayd al-Ṣaffār > Ismāʿīl b. Isḥāq > ʿAlī b. al-Madīnī > Sufyān > ʿAmr > ʿAwsajah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] A man died during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he did not leave behind any inheritor except for a slave whom he had set free. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave him his inheritance. However, Hammad ibn Zaid went against them and narrated it from 'Amr ibn Dinar as Mursal.  

البيهقي:١٢٣٩٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَوْسَجَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

مَاتَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ وَارِثًا إِلَّا عَبْدًا لَهُ هُوَ أَعْتَقَهُ فَأَعْطَاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِيرَاثَهُ وَخَالَفَهُمَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ فَرَوَاهُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ مُرْسَلًا

tabarani:12210 – Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Ibn ʿUyaynah > ʿAmr b. Dīnār > ʿAwsajah a freed slave of Ibn ʿAbbās > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] A man died during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and he did not leave any inheritor except for his slave. So, the Prophet ﷺ set the slave free and gave him his inheritance.  

الطبراني:١٢٢١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَوْسَجَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«مَاتَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ وَارِثًا إِلَّا عَبْدًا لَهُ فَأَعْتَقَهُ وَأَعْطَاهُ ﷺ مِيرَاثَهُ»
