bayhaqi:12396 – ʿAlī b. Aḥmad b. ʿAbdān > Aḥmad b. ʿUbayd > Ismāʿīl b. Isḥāq al-Qāḍī > Sulaymān And ʿĀrim > Ḥammād b. Zayd > ʿAmr > ʿAwsajah a freed slave of Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] A man died during the time of the Prophet ﷺ and did not leave any heirs except for a slave who was set free by him. So the Prophet ﷺ gave him his inheritance. The judge said, "This is how it is."  

البيهقي:١٢٣٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ وَعَارِمٌ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَوْسَجَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا مَاتَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَمْ يَدَعْ وَارِثًا إِلَّا مَوْلًى لَهُ هُوَ أَعْتَقَهُ فَأَعْطَاهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِيرَاثَهُ قَالَ الْقَاضِي هَكَذَا  

رَوَاهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ مُرْسَلًا لَمْ يَبْلُغْ بِهِ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ مُرْسَلًا
