[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Indeed, a man may perform the deeds of the people of Paradise, and yet he is written in the record as being of the people of Hell. Then, before his death, he changes and performs the deeds of the people of Hell, so he dies while being among them, and enters Hell. And indeed, a man may perform the deeds of the people of Hell, and yet he is written in the record as being of the people of Paradise. Then, before his death, he changes and performs the deeds of the people of Paradise, so he dies while being among them, and enters Paradise.  

أحمد:٢٤٧٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمَكْتُوبٌ فِي الْكِتَابِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَإِذَا كَانَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ تَحَوَّلَ فَعَمِلَ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمَكْتُوبٌ فِي الْكِتَابِ مِنْأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَإِذَا كَانَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ تَحَوَّلَ فَعَمِلَ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَهَا

أحمد:١٣٦٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ الْبُرْهَةَ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ بِالْعَمَلِ الَّذِي لَوْ مَاتَ عَلَيْهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِذَا كَانَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ تَحَوَّلَ فَعَمِلَ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ الْبُرْهَةَ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ بِالْعَمَلِ الَّذِي لَوْ مَاتَ عَلَيْهِ دَخَلَ النَّارَ فَإِذَا كَانَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ تَحَوَّلَ فَعَمِلَ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَمَاتَ فَدَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ  

ahmad:22835 – Yazīd Akhabaranā Abū Ghassān Muḥammad b. Muṭarrif > Abū Ḥāzimʿan Sahl b. Saʿd

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, a person may perform the actions of the people of the Fire, while he is from the people of Paradise. And verily, a person may perform the actions of the people of Paradise, while he is from the people of the Fire. Indeed, actions are judged by their endings."  

أحمد:٢٢٨٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخَبَرَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالْخَوَاتِيمِ

Sahl b. Sa'd reported it from Messenger of Allah ﷺ that a person performs deeds like the deeds of the people of Paradise apparently before people and he would be amongst the dwellers of Hell and a person acts apparently like the people of Hell, but (in fact) he would be among the dwellers of Paradise. الطبراني:٥٨٢٥ – حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ

"عَنْ عَلِىًّ قَالَ: إِيَّاكُمْ وَالاسْتِنَانَ بِالرِّجَالِ، فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ الزَّمَنَ الطَّوِيلَ حَتَّى لَوْ مَاتَ لَقُلْتَ: إِنَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ثُمَّ يَنْقَلِبُ لِعِلْمِ الله فِيهِ فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيمُوتُ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَنْقَلِبُ لِعِلْمِ الله فِيهِ فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَل أَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ فَيَمُوتُ وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الجَنَّةِ، فَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلِينَ فَبِالأَمْوَاتِ لَا بِالأَحْيَاءِ".
