أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَعَلَ الرُّقْبَى لِلَّذِي أُرْقِبَهَا وَالْعُمْرَى لِلَّذِي أُعْمِرَهَا

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَعَلَ الرُّقْبَى لِلَّذِي أُرْقِبَهَا وَالْعُمْرَى لِلَّذِي أُعْمِرَهَا
The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not give property to go to the survivor and do not give life-tenancy. If anyone is given something to the survivor or given life-tenancy, it goes to his heirs.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُرْقِبُوا وَلاَ تُعْمِرُوا فَمَنْ أُرْقِبَ شَيْئًا أَوْ أُعُمِرَهُ فَهُوَ لِوَرَثَتِهِ
"Muhammad -he is, Ibn Yusuf- narrated to us, he said: 'Sufyan narrated to us from Ibn Abi Najih, from Tawus, from a man, from Zaid bin Thabit that the Prophet ruled that the Ruqba belongs to the one to whom it is given.'"
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَعَلَ الرُّقْبَى لِلَّذِي أُرْقِبَهَا
"Habib bin Abi Thabit informed us from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of Allah said: 'There is no 'Umra and no Ruqba. Whoever is given something on the basis of 'Umra or Ruqba, it belongs to him for the rest of his life and after he dies.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ عُمْرَى وَلاَ رُقْبَى فَمَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا أَوْ أُرْقِبَهُ فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَمَمَاتَهُ
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Ruqba belongs to the one to whom it is given.'"
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الرُّقْبَى لِمَنْ أُرْقِبَهَا
the Prophet ﷺ ruled that a gift given for life belongs to the heirs (of the recipient).
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَعَلَ الْعُمْرَى لِلْوَارِثِ
“Umra belongs to the one to whom it is given, and Ruqba belongs to the one to whom it is given.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ لِمَنْ أُعْمِرَهَا وَالرُّقْبَى جَائِزَةٌ لِمَنْ أُرْقِبَهَا
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Umra (life-long gift) is permissible for the one to whom it is given, and Ruqba is permissible to the one to whom it is given, and the one who takes back his gift is like the one who goes back to his vomit.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3710)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْعُمْرَى لِمَنْ أُعْمِرَهَا وَالرُّقْبَى لِمَنْ أُرْقِبَهَا وَالْعَائِدُ فِي هِبَتِهِ كَالْعَائِدِ فِي قَيْئِهِ

“There is no lifelong grant. Whoever is given something as a lifelong grant, it is his.' ” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2379)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تُرْقِبُوا وَلَا تُعْمِرُوا فَمَنْ أَعْمَرَ شَيْئًا أَوْ أَرْقَبَ فَهُوَ لَهُ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَعْمَرَ عُمْرَى فَهِيَ لَهُ وَلِعَقِبِهِ»

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَعَلَ الرُّقْبَى لِلَّذِي أَرْقَبَهَا وَالْعُمْرَى لِلَّذِي أَعْمَرَهَا»
[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "It is not permissible to sell a captured person or a freed slave. Therefore, whoever buys or sells a captured person or a freed slave, it belongs to him."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَحِلُّ الرُّقْبَى وَلَا الْعُمْرَى فَمَنْ أُرْقِبَ شَيْئًا أَوْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لَهُ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Umrah (a pilgrimage to Mecca) is a reward for those who perform it, and captivity is a means of punishment for those who are captured. Its way is the way of inheritance."

"عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ جَعَلَ الرُّقْبَى لِلَّذِى أَرْقَبَهَا، وَالعُمْرَى لِلَّذِى أَعْمَرَهَا".
