“I heard Sa'd and Abu Bakrah both say that they heard directly from Muhammad ﷺ saying it and memorized: 'Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father knowing the he is not his father, Paradise will be forbidden to him.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2610)   

أحمد:٢٠٣٩٦حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا يَقُولُ سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَى قَلْبِي

أَنَّ مَنْ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ قَالَ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ فَقَالَ وَأَنَا سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَى قَلْبِي مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Whoever claims to be the son of a person other than his father, and he knows that person is not his father, then Paradise will be forbidden for him." I mentioned that to Abu Bakra, and he said, "My ears heard that and my heart memorized it from Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

Both of my ears heard the Messenger of Allah saying this: He who claimed the fatherhood of anyone else besides his real father knowingly (committed a great sin) ;Paradise is forbidden to him. Abu Bakra asserted that he too heard it from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him ).

I met Abu Bakr and spoke to him about it, and he said, "I also heard it with my own ears and it settled in my heart from Muhammad ﷺ ."
