This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1372)

هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ

This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1372)

وَقَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ

Why do you put on the lower garment in this way? He replied: It is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4096)

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُهُ»

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrate in frustration.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِي ص

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in a single garment crossing the two ends. (Using translation from Muslim 518a)

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ

"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over his leather slippers (when doing wudoo’). (Using translation from Aḥmad 216)

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over his leather slippers (when doing wudoo’). (Using translation from Aḥmad 216)

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُعَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prostrate on the palms of his hands.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ عَلَى أَلْيَتَيِ الْكَفِّ

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he prostrated, place his nose on the ground.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَجَدَ، وَضَعَ أَنْفَهُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ.

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ— and Yazid said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ place his nose on the ground when he prostrated, together with his forehead.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَضَعُ أَنْفَهُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ إِذَا سَجَدَ مَعَ جَبْهَتِهِ.

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating on the ground, placing his forehead and nose in his prostration.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ، وَاضِعًا جَبْهَتَهُ وَأَنْفَهُ فِي سُجُودِهِ.

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating chicken.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُ دَجَاجًا

This tradition has also been transmitted by Sa'd (b. Abi Waqqas) from the Prophet ﷺ in a similar manner through a different chain of narrators. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1470)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turning away from his sides.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ شِقَّيْهِ

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي إِلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ»

[AI] "I saw the messenger of Allah ﷺ praying like this."

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي كَذَلِكَ»

قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ وَأَنْفَهُ عَلَى الأَرْضِ

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ عَلَيْهِمَا»

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ»

[AI] "The Mosque of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."

«مَسْجِدُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»

This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1372)

وَقَالَ «هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي»

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in a single garment with its ends crossing each other. 'Isa b. Hammad added:" placing on his shoulders". (Using translation from Muslim 517d)

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ»

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating on his garment.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «يَسْجُدُ عَلَى ثَوْبِهِ»

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating in Sujood.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «يَسْجُدُ فِي ص»

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , prostrating on the ground, placing his forehead and nose in his prostration.

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ وَاضِعًا جَبْهَتَهُ وَأَنْفَهُ فِي سُجُودِهِ»

[AI] "I saw the Prophet ﷺ placing his nose on the ground along with his forehead when he prostrated."

«رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَاضِعًا أَنْفَهُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مَعَ جَبْهَتِهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ»

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating and raising his feet and describing them."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَجَدَ وَنَصَبَ قَدَمَيْهِ وَصَفَّهُمَا»

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lowering his nose to the ground, just as he lowered his forehead."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُمَكِّنُ أَنْفَهُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ كَمَا يُمَكِّنُ جَبْهَتَهُ»

"رَأَيْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ عَلَى جَبْهَتهِ وَأنْفِهِ".
