We, therefore said: Messenger of Allah, this is the funeral of a Jew. He said: Death is fearful event, so when you see a funeral, stand up. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3174)

[Machine] Narrated by Nuaym al-Anazi, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said, "We traveled with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and when it was time for prayer, the Prophet ﷺ asked, 'Does anybody have any water for ablution?' A man brought a bottle of water, poured it into a utensil, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution. Then, the rest of the people brought the remaining water and said, 'Make Tayammum, make Tayammum.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard them and said, 'No, use your own utensils.' He struck his hand in the utensil, in the water, and said, 'Perform ablution thoroughly.' Jabir ibn Abdullah said, 'By the One who has taken my sight away, I saw the water gushing out of the fingers of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' He did not raise his hand until everyone had performed ablution." Al-Aswad said, "I thought that we were two hundred or more."

ahmad:14861ʿAbīdah > al-Aswad > Nubayḥ al-ʿAnazī > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

[Machine] Narrated by Jubair bin Abdullah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "O Jubair, do you have a wife?" I replied, "Yes." He asked, "Did you marry a virgin or a previously married woman?" I responded, "I married her when she was previously married." He then said to me, "Why don't you marry a young woman who has not been married before?" I explained to him that my father was killed during a certain battle, and he left me, my sisters, and my mother as widows. I disliked the idea of being intimate with one of the young women, similar to being intimate with my own sisters. Therefore, I married a previously married woman who plucks lice from one of her sisters and sews a torn garment of another sister if needed. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You have done well."
