Hammad spread his hands towards his chest and his palms covered his abdomen, such that it seemed as if he was holding the earth and the sky in his hands. A cloud appeared, and it did not dissipate until the strong youth felt compelled to return to his family. We were blessed with rain until the next Friday. They said, "O Messenger of Allah, the structures have collapsed and the roads have been cut off, so pray to Allah to remove the difficulty from us." The Messenger of Allah laughed and said, "O Allah, let the rain be around us and not on us." The rain then fell, and the city appeared as if it was wreathed in flowers.

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, Abdullah ibn Salam was informed of his arrival while he was in his date palm tree. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to him and said, "I ask you about things that only a prophet knows. If you tell me about them, I will believe in you, and if you don't know them, then I know that you are not a prophet." He asked him about resemblance, the first thing the people of Paradise will eat, and the first thing that will be gathered upon the people. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Jibril informed me of them in advance." Abdullah said, "That is the knowledge of the Jews." Then he asked him about resemblance. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a man's water precedes the water of a woman, the resemblance goes to the man. And when the water of the woman precedes the man's water, the resemblance goes to the woman." He asked about the first thing that the people of Paradise will eat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The enlarged liver of a fish." He asked about the first thing that will be gathered upon the people. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fire that will come out from the direction of the East and gather them towards the West. They will believe and say, 'We bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah.'" Abdullah ibn Salam then said, "O Messenger of Allah, the Jews are a wicked people. If they hear about my acceptance of Islam, they will slander me. So hide me with you and send for them, and ask them about me." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ hid him and sent for the Jews, and they came to him. He asked them, "What do you say about Abdullah ibn Salam?" They said, "He is the best of us, the son of the best of us, our leader, the son of our leader, our scholar, the son of our scholar." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked them, "If he becomes a Muslim, will you accept Islam?" They replied, "May Allah protect him from that." Abdullah ibn Salam then came out to them and said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." They replied, "He is the most evil of us, the son of the most evil of us, the ignorant one amongst us, and the son of the ignorant one amongst us." Abdullah ibn Salam then said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "I told you, O Messenger of Allah, that the Jews are a wicked people."
