ahmad:11285Wakīʿ > ʿIkrimah b. ʿAmmār > ʿĀṣim b. Shumaykh > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to say when he took an oath and exerted himself in this regard, "No, by the one in whose hand is the soul of Abu Al-Qasim, a group of people will emerge from my ummah who will belittle your deeds compared to theirs. They will recite the Quran but it will not go beyond their throats, like an arrow passes through its target. They will leave the fold of Islam as an arrow leaves the bow." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, is there any sign by which they can be recognized?" He replied, "They will have a mark on their heads or foreheads, from the marks of prostration." Abu Sa'id said, "Then, I saw Abu Sa'id's hands trembling while he was saying, 'The fighting against them is more beloved to me than fighting against the Turks, who are their own people.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not choose between the prophets and me. I will be the first to be resurrected on the Day of Judgment, and when I awaken, I will find Moses holding onto one of the pillars of the Throne. I do not know if he will be rewarded with the shock of Mount Sinai or if he will awaken before me."

ahmad:11287Wakīʿ > Isrāʾīl > Abū Isḥāq

He bears witness, from Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri, that they bear witness, from the Messenger of Allah, that he said: “There is no group that remembers Allah, except that the angels encompass them, mercy covers them, and tranquility descends upon them: and Allah remembers (mentions) them before those who are with Him.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3378)

ahmad:11289Wakīʿ > Fiṭr > Ismāʿīl b. Rajāʾ > Abīhiʿan Abū Saʿīd

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Among you there are those who fight for his interpretation as I fought for its revelation." Abu Bakr and Umar then stood up and said: "No, but rather he is the mender of the sandals, and Ali is the one who mends his sandals."

O Allah, I make a covenant with Thee against which Thou wouldst never go. I am a human being and thus for a Muslim whom I give any harm or whom I scold or upon whom I invoke curse or whom I beat, make this a source of blessing, purification and nearness to Thee on the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 2601b)

"I said to Abu Sa'eed Khudri: 'Did you hear the Messenger of Allah mention anything about the Haruriyyah (a sect of Khawarij)?' He said: 'I heard him mention a people who would appear to be devoted worshippers: "Such that anyone of you would regard his own prayer and fasting as insignificant when compared to theirs. But they will pass through Islam like an arrow passing through its target, then he (the archer) picks up his arrow and looks at its iron head but does not see anything, then he looks at the shaft and does not see anything, then he looks at the band: that which is wrapped around the iron head where it is connected to the shaft, then he looks at the feather and is not sure whether he sees anything or not." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 169)

ahmad:11292Yazīd > Abū al-Ashhab > Abū Naḍrah > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

Abu Sa’Id al-Khudri said; The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a tendency among his companions to go to the back. He said to them; come forward and follow my lead, and let those who come after you follow your lead people will continue to keep to the back till Allah would put them at the back. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 680)

ahmad:11293Yazīd > Abū al-Ashhab > Abū Naḍrah > Abū Saʿīd

[Machine] The Prophet (PBUH) saw a man distributing his provisions among the people, so he said, "Whoever has extra food in his bag, let him give it to those who have none, and whoever has extra supplies, let him give them to those who have none, until none of us have any excess provisions."

ahmad:11294Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar And ʿAffān > Shuʿbah > ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr > Qazaʿah > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudri

[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ four things that amazed me and made me curious. He said: "A woman is prohibited from traveling for a distance of two days, or nights, except with her husband or a mahram (a relative she cannot marry). He also forbade praying during two hours after sunrise until the sun rises, and after Asr prayer until it sets. He also prohibited fasting for two days, the day of sacrifice and the day of Eid. And he said: "Do not travel except to three mosques: Al-Haram Mosque, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and this mosque of mine." Affan said: In his narration, Abdul Malik ibn Umayr reported that Qaz'a, the servant of Ziyad, informed me.

ahmad:11295Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Abū Isḥāq > al-Aghar

[Machine] I bear witness that Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri both testified that they heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Indeed, Allah grants respite until the third of the night passes, then He descends and says, 'Is there anyone who seeks, so that I may give to them? Is there anyone who repents, so that I may accept their repentance? Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness, so that I may forgive them? Is there anyone who sins, so that I may pardon them?' A man asked, 'Will this remain until dawn?' He replied, 'Yes.'"

[Machine] The women said, "The men have prevailed over us, O Messenger of Allah. So designate a day for us, O Messenger of Allah, where we can come to you and you can give us your advice and admonition." He agreed to their request and said, "Any woman who has three children and they die will be a barrier between her and the Hellfire." A woman asked, "What if she has two children?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Even if she has two."

The Prophet ﷺ ordered him to be whipped with hands and sandals, and he forbade the mixing of raisins and dates (to ferment)."

He will distribute wealth accurately and fairly, and a man asked him, 'What does it mean to distribute wealth accurately and fairly?' He replied, 'Justly among the people.' The hearts of the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ will be filled with richness and they will be content with his justice. He will command a caller to summon the people, and he will call out, 'Whoever has a need for wealth, come forward.' No one will stand except for one man who will say, 'I am in need.' So he will be told, 'Go to the treasurer.' The person will then say, 'The Mahdi commands you to give me wealth.' The treasurer will tell him, 'Wait until I place it in his chamber and retrieve it.' But when he brings it and presents it, the person will feel remorse and say, 'I used to be the most greedy person of the Ummah of Muhammad. How did I become unable to keep up with them?' The Mahdi will reject and refuse to accept anything from him. Then they will say to him, 'We do not take back anything that we give.' This will continue for seven, eight, or nine years, and after that, there will be no good in life for him or he said, no good in existence after it."
