He replied, 'By the one in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, I thought you would be the first among my Ummah to ask me about it, due to your eagerness for knowledge. But what concerns me more than their deficiency in striving for the gates of Paradise is the completeness of my intercession and my intercession is for those who bear witness that there is no god but Allah sincerely, with their hearts confirming their tongues and their tongues confirming their hearts.'"

ahmad:8071And Hb b. Jarīr from my father > Muḥammad b. Sīrīn > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Only three people spoke in their cradles: Jesus, the son of Mary, and a man from the children of Israel named Jurayj. He was a devoted worshiper who built a place of worship and prayed in it. The children of Israel mentioned the worship of Jurayj one day, and one of them said, "If you wish, we can tempt him." They agreed, and a woman came to him and tried to seduce him, but he did not pay attention to her. So, she went to a shepherd who used to take his sheep to the foundation of Jurayj's place of worship, and she had sexual intercourse with him and became pregnant. When she gave birth to a son, the people asked her, "Who is the father?" She said, "Jurayj." So, they came to him, insulted and beat him, and destroyed his place of worship. He asked them, "What is your problem?" They said, "You committed adultery with this woman, and she gave birth to a son." He asked, "Where is the child?" They said, "Here he is." He stood up, prayed, and supplicated to Allah. Then he approached the child and stabbed him with his finger, saying, "By Allah, O boy, who is your father?" The child replied, "I am the son of the shepherd." Then they went to Jurayj and started kissing him, saying, "We will rebuild your place of worship with gold." He replied, "I have no need for that, rebuild it with mud, just as it was." Abu Hurairah said, "It is as if I am seeing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrating this story, placing his finger in his mouth and sucking on it." Then, he passed by a woman who was being beaten. She said, "O Allah, do not make my son like her." He left her breasts and approached the woman, saying, "O Allah, do not make me like her." Then he passed by another woman who was also being beaten. Again, he left the woman's breasts and said, "O Allah, make me like her." He said, "O my people, the rider with the sign is a tyrant among the tyrants, and this woman, they accuse her of wrongdoing, stealing, and she says, 'Allah is sufficient for me.'"

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: Only three spoke in the cradle: Jesus son of Mary, a young boy in the time of Jurayj, and another young boy. He mentioned the following hadith: Jurayj was a devout man among the Children of Israel, and he had a mother. One day, while he was praying, his mother missed him and called out to him, saying: "O Jurayj!" He replied: "O Lord, should I answer her call or continue with my prayer?" Then he prayed and she called him again, and he responded in the same way. This happened a few times, and his mother became very upset and said: "O Allah! Show me Jurayj fully exposed!" So Jurayj went up to a small room, where there was a woman from the Children of Israel who was known for her immorality. He then mentioned something similar to this.

Messenger of Allah, do you think that if I am killed in the way of Allah, my sins will be blotted out from me? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Yes, in case you are killed in the way of Allah and you were patient and sincere and you always fought facing the enemy, never turming your back upon him. Then he added: What have you said (now)? (Wishing to have further assurance from him for his satisfaction), he asked (again): Do you think if I am killed in the way of Allah, all my sins will be obliterated from me? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Yes, it you were patient and sincere and always fought facing the enemy and never turning your back upon him, (all your lapses would be forgiven) except debt. [Machine] I was walking with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ among some date-palm trees belonging to some of the people of Al-Madinah, and he said, "O Abu Hurairah! The extravagant ones are destroyers." I said, "Except for those who say such and such three times," pointing with his two hands towards his right, left and in front of him. And he walked for a while and said, "O Abu Hurairah! Shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Paradise?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" He said, "Say 'There is no might nor power except with Allah' and 'There is no refuge from Allah but to Him,' then walk for a while." Then he said, "O Abu Hurairah! Do you know what is the right of people on Allah and what is the right of Allah on people?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "The right of Allah on people is that they should worship Him alone and not associate anything with Him in worship. And the right of people on Allah is that He should not punish those who do not associate anything with Him in worship."

as follows in Hadith 297. Narrated Abu Huraira: We were in the company of Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a Ghazwa, and he remarked about a man who claimed to be a Muslim, saying, "This (man) is from the people of the (Hell) Fire." When the battle started, the man fought violently till he got wounded. Somebody said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! The man whom you described as being from the people of the (Hell) Fire fought violently today and died." The Prophet ﷺ said, "He will go to the (Hell) Fire." Some people were on the point of doubting (the truth of what the Prophet had said) while they were in this state, suddenly someone said that he was still alive but severely wounded. When night fell, he lost patience and committed suicide. The Prophet ﷺ was informed of that, and he said, "Allah is Greater! I testify that I am Allah's Slave and His Apostle." Then he ordered Bilal to announce amongst the people: 'None will enter Paradise but a Muslim, and Allah may support this religion (i.e. Islam) even with a disobedient man.' [Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , sent a reconnaissance mission and appointed 'Asim ibn Thabit, who was the grandfather of 'Asim ibn 'Umar, as their leader. They set out until they reached a place between 'Usfan and Makkah known as "Bani Lihyan". They followed their tracks with a group of about one hundred men led by Ramm, and they pursued them until they reached a resting place where they found dates that were provisions from Madinah. They said, "These are dates from Yathrib." They followed their tracks until they caught up with them. When 'Asim ibn Thabit and his companions sensed them, they sought refuge in a rugged place, and when the people approached them, they surrounded them and said, "We have made a covenant and agreement with you that if you come to us, we will not kill any of you." 'Asim ibn Thabit said, "As for me, I do not enter into a treaty with a disbeliever." They said, "Fight them." So they fought 'Asim and killed him along with seven others. Only Hubayb ibn 'Adi and Zayd ibn ad-Dathinah remained. They entered into a covenant and agreement with them. When they felt secure from them, they tied their hands with their own bowstrings. The third man with them said, "This is the first act of treachery. I refuse to accompany them." So they killed him. Then they departed with Hubayb ibn 'Adi and Zayd ibn ad-Dathinah until they sold them in Makkah. They sold Hubayb to the sons of Al-Harith ibn 'Amir ibn Nawfal, who had killed Al-Harith on the Day of Badr. Hubayb stayed with them as a prisoner until they decided to kill him. He borrowed a razor from the daughter of Al-Harith to prepare himself with it. She said, "I inadvertently failed to restrain my son from approaching it, and he fell upon it until it reached him." She said, "Have no fear that I will kill him. I wouldn't kill him. You will not find a better captive than Hubayb. I saw him eating ripe grapes when Makkah had no ripe fruits at that time. And he is bound in iron, but his sustenance is only provided by Allah." Then they took him out of the sanctuary to kill him. He asked them, "Allow me to pray two Rak'ahs." He prayed the two Rak'ahs, and then said, "If you did not see my eagerness to die, I would increase in it by the Will of Allah." Hubayb was the first to offer two Rak'ahs before being killed. Then 'Uqbah ibn Al-Harith went toward him and killed him. The people of Quraysh sent word to 'Asim to bring them a part of his body that they could recognize. He was a great man among their elite who had been killed on the Day of Badr. So Allah sent upon them a cloud from behind, shielding them from his messengers.

ahmad:8117

Abu Huraira reported us some ahadith from Messenger of Allah ﷺ amongst many, (and) one is this that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A person lit fire and when the atmosphere was aglow, moths and insects began to fall into the fire, but I am there to hold them back, but they are plunging into it despite my efforts, and he further added: That is your example and mine. I am there to hold you back from fire and to save you from it, but you are plunging into it despite my efforts. (Using translation from Muslim 2284c)

ahmad:8118

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Beware of suspicion, for it is the worst of false tales and don't look for the other's faults and don't spy and don't hate each other, and don't desert (cut your relations with) one another O Allah's slaves, be brothers!" (See Hadith No. 90) (Using translation from Bukhārī 6724)
