[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is an hour on Friday that no Muslim coincides with while he is asking his Lord for something except that He gives it to him."  

أحمد:٨١١٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يُوَافِقُهَا مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ يَسْأَلُ رَبَّهُ شَيْئًا إِلَّا آتَاهُ إِيَّاهُ  

ahmad:8120

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Angels come to you in succession by night and day and all of them get together at the time of the Fajr and ʿAsr prayers. Those who have passed the night with you (or stayed with you) ascend (to the Heaven) and Allah asks them, though He knows everything about you, well, "In what state did you leave my slaves?" The angels reply: "When we left them they were praying and when we reached them, they were praying." (Using translation from Bukhārī 555)  

أحمد:٨١٢٠

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَتَعَاقَبُونَ فِيكُمْ مَلَائِكَةٌ بِاللَّيْلِ وَمَلَائِكَةٌ بِالنَّهَارِ وَقَالَ يَجْتَمِعُونَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ الَّذِينَ بَاتُوا فِيكُمْ فَيَسْأَلُهُمْ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ كَيْفَ تَرَكْتُمْ عِبَادِي؟ فَقَالُوا تَرَكْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ وَأَتَيْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ  

ahmad:8121

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)  

أحمد:٨١٢١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ  

ahmad:8122

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When anyone amongst you utters Amin in prayer and the angels in the sky also utter Amin, and this (utterance of the one) synchronises with (that of) the other, all his previous sins are pardoned. (Using translation from Muslim 410c)  

أحمد:٨١٢٢

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ آمِينَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ فِي السَّمَاءِ فَيُوَافِقُ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ  

ahmad:8123Baynamā a man Yasūq Badanah Muqalladah

[Machine] He ﷺ said, "Woe to you! Ride it." He said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is a female camel (which is not suitable for riding)." He ﷺ said, "Woe to you! Ride it."  

أحمد:٨١٢٣وَقَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً مُقَلَّدَةً قَالَ

لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَيْلَكَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ بَدَنَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ وَيْلَكَ ارْكَبْهَا  

ahmad:8124

“If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4191)   

أحمد:٨١٢٤

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا  

ahmad:8125

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If somebody fights (or beats somebody) then he should avoid the face." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2559)  

أحمد:٨١٢٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَاتَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْتَنِبِ الْوَجْهَ  

ahmad:8126

The fire which sons of Adam burn is only one-seventieth part of the Fire of Hell. His Companions said: By Allah, even ordinary fire would have been enough (to burn people). Thereupon he said: It is sixty-nine parts in excess of (the heat of) fire in this world each of them being equivalent to their heat. (Using translation from Muslim 2843a)   

أحمد:٨١٢٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نَارُكُمْ هَذِهِ مَا يُوقِدُ بَنُو آدَمَ جُزْءٌ وَاحِدٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ حَرِّ جَهَنَّمَ قَالُوا وَاللهِ إِنْ كَانَتْ لَكَافِيَةً يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا فُضِّلَتْ عَلَيْهَا بِتِسْعَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ جُزْءًا كُلُّهُنَّ مِثْلُ حَرِّهَا  

ahmad:8127

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne, "My Mercy overpowers My Anger." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3194)  

أحمد:٨١٢٧

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا قَضَى اللهُ الْخَلْقَ كَتَبَ كِتَابًا فَهُوَ عِنْدَهُ فَوْقَ الْعَرْشِ إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي غَلَبَتْ غَضَبِي  

ahmad:8128

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: Fast is a shield ; when one of you is fasting, he should neither behave in an obscene manner nor foolishly. If a man fights or abuses him, he should say: I am fasting, I am fasting. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2363)   

أحمد:٨١٢٨

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ فَإِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمًا صَائِمًا فَلَا يَجْهَلْ وَلَا يَرْفُثْ فَإِنِ امْرُؤٌ قَاتَلَهُ أَوْ شَتَمَهُ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ  

ahmad:8129

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the breath of the fasting person is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk. The fasting person abstains from their desires, food, and drink for My sake, and I will reward them for it."  

أحمد:٨١٢٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ يَذَرُ شَهْوَتَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ مِنْ جَرَّايَ فَالصِّيَامُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ  

ahmad:8130

When an Apostle from amongst the Apostles of Allah came to sit under a tree an ant bit him. He commanded his luggage to be removed from under the tree and he commanded it to be burnt in the fire and Allah revealed to him:" Why one ant (which had bitten you) was not killed (and why did you burn the others)? (Using translation from Muslim 2241c)  

أحمد:٨١٣٠

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نَزَلَ نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ فَلَدَغَتْهُ نَمْلَةٌ فَأَمَرَ بِجَهَازِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا وَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَأُحْرِقَتْ فِي النَّارِ قَالَ فَأَوْحَى اللهُ إِلَيْهِ فَهَلَّا نَمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً  

ahmad:8131

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if it wasn't difficult for the believers, I wouldn't have stayed behind from leading an expedition in the path of Allah. However, I don't find the means to carry them, and they don't find the means to follow me. And it doesn't please them to stay behind after me.'"  

أحمد:٨١٣١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ فِي يَدِهِ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَا قَعَدْتُ خَلْفَ سَرِيَّةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَلَكِنْ لَا أَجِدُ سَعَةً فَأَحْمِلَهُمْ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ سَعَةً فَيَتَّبِعُونِي وَلَا تَطِيبُ أَنْفُسُهُمْ أَنْ يَقْعُدُوا بَعْدِي  

ahmad:8132

[Machine] “And the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: Every prophet has a supplication that is answered. And I want, if Allah wills, that my supplication be delayed to be intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection."  

أحمد:٨١٣٢

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ تُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ فَأُرِيدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ أُؤَخِّرَ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ  

ahmad:8133

He who loves to meet Allah, Allah also loves to meet him, and he who dislikes to meet Allah, Allah also abhors to meet him. (Using translation from Muslim 2683a)   

أحمد:٨١٣٣

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللهِ أَحَبَّ اللهُلِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُحِبَّ لِقَاءَ اللهِ لَمْ يُحِبَّ اللهُ لِقَاءَهُ  

ahmad:8134

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever obeys me, obeys Allah, and whoever disobeys me, disobeys Allah. Whoever obeys my governor (Amir), he has obeyed me, and whoever disobeys my governor, he has disobeyed me."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4193)  

أحمد:٨١٣٤

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَطَاعَنِي فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللهَ وَمَنْ يَعْصِينِي فَقَدْ عَصَى اللهَ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ الْأَمِيرَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَنِيوَمَنْ يَعْصِ الْأَمِيرَ فَقَدْ عَصَانِي

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah said, "The Hour shall not be established until wealth increases abundantly among you, to the point where the owner of wealth will be perplexed as to who should accept his charity."  

أحمد:٨١٣٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَكْثُرَ فِيكُمُ الْمَالُ فَيَفِيضَ حَتَّى يُهِمَّ رَبَّ الْمَالِ مَنْ يَتَقَبَّلُ مِنْهُ صَدَقَتَهُ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not be established (1) till two big groups fight each other whereupon there will be a great number of casualties on both sides and they will be following one and the same religious doctrine, (2) till about thirty Dajjals (liars) appear, and each one of them will claim that he is Messenger of Allah ﷺ, (3) till the religious knowledge is taken away (by the death of Religious scholars) (4) earthquakes will increase in number (5) time will pass quickly, (6) afflictions will appear, (7) Al-Harj, (i.e., killing) will increase, (8) till wealth will be in abundance ---- so abundant that a wealthy person will worry lest nobody should accept his Zakat, and whenever he will present it to someone, that person (to whom it will be offered) will say, 'I am not in need of it, (9) till the people compete with one another in constructing high buildings, (10) till a man when passing by a grave of someone will say, 'Would that I were in his place (11) and till the sun rises from the West. So when the sun will rise and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (embrace Islam) but that will be the time when: (As Allah said,) 'No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good (by deeds of righteousness) through its Faith.' (6.158) And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, nor fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has milked his she-camel and has taken away the milk but he will not be able to drink it; and the Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank (for his livestock) is able to water (his animals) in it; and the Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel (of food) to his mouth but will not be able to eat it." (Using translation from Bukhārī 7121)  

أحمد:٨١٣٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَقْتَتِلَ فِئَتَانِ عَظِيمَتَانِ يَكُونُ بَيْنَهُمَا مَقْتَلَةٌ عَظِيمَةٌ وَدَعْوَاهُمَا وَاحِدَةٌ

"The Hour shall not be established until nearly thirty imposters, Dajjal appear, each of them claiming that he is the Messenger of Allah." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2218)  

أحمد:٨١٣٧

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَنْبَعِثَ دَجَّالُونَ كَذَّابُونَ قَرِيب مِنْ ثَلَاثِينَ كُلُّهُمْ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ رَسُولُاللهِ

The last hour will not come before rising of the sun in its place of setting. When it rises (there) and the people see it, those who are on it (the earth) will believe. This is the time of which the Qur’anic verse says: “. . .no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then, if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith." (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4312)  

أحمد:٨١٣٨

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا فَإِذَا طَلَعَتْ وَرَآهَا النَّاسُ آمَنُوا أَجْمَعُونَ وَذَلِكَ حِينَ {لَا يَنْفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْرًا} [الأنعام 158]

The Apostle ﷺ said When the call to prayer is made, Satan runs back and breaks wind so as not to hear the call being made, and when the call is finished. he turns round. When Iqama is proclaimed he turns his back, and when it is finished he turns round to distract a man, saying: Re- member such and such; remember such and such, referring to something the man did not have in his mind, with the result that he does not know how much he has prayed. (Using translation from Muslim 389d)  

أحمد:٨١٣٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا نُودِيَ بِالصَّلَاةِ أَدْبَرَ الشَّيْطَانُ وَلَهُ ضُرَاطٌ حَتَّى لَا يَسْمَعَ التَّأْذِينَ فَإِذَا قُضِيَ التَّأْذِينُ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِهَا أَدْبَرَ حَتَّى إِذَا قُضِيَ التَّثْوِيبُ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى يَخْطِرَ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَنَفْسِهِ فَيَقُولَ لَهُ اذْكُرْ كَذَا اذْكُرْ كَذَا لِمَا لَمْ يَكُنْ يُذْكَرُ مِنْ قَبْلُ حَتَّى يَظَلَّ الرَّجُلُ إِنْ يَدْرِي كَيْفَ صَلَّى  

ahmad:8140

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Ar-Rahman's Hand is full, He spends without any decrease, night and day.' He said: 'Do you not see how much He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth, yet it has not decreased what is in His Hand, and His Throne is over the water, and in His Other Hand is the Mizan (Scale) which He raises and lowers.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3045)   

أحمد:٨١٤٠

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ يَمِينَ اللهِ مَلْأَى لَا يَغِيضُهَا نَفَقَةٌ سَحَّاءُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ أَرَأَيْتُمْ مَا أُنْفِقَ مُنْذُ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَغِضْ مَا فِي يَمِينِهِ قَالَ وَعَرْشُهُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ وَبِيَدِهِ الْأُخْرَى الْقَبْضُ يَرْفَعُ وَيَخْفِضُ  

ahmad:8141

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, a day will come upon one of you where seeing me will be more beloved to him than his family, wealth, and all others with them."  

أحمد:٨١٤١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ يَوْمٌ لَأَنْ يَرَانِي ثُمَّ لَأَنْ يَرَانِي أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْأَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ وَمِثْلِهِمْ مَعَهُمْ

This is what Abu Huraira reported from Messenger of Allah ﷺ and in this connection he reported so many hadith (and one of them was this): Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Kisra would die and then there would be no Kisra after him. Qaisar would die and there would be no Qaisar after him, but you will distribute their treasures in the cause of Allah. (Using translation from Muslim 2918b)   

أحمد:٨١٤٢

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هَلَكَ كِسْرَى ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُ كِسْرَى بَعْدَهُ وَقَيْصَرُ لَيَهْلِكَنَّ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُ قَيْصَرُ بَعْدَهُ وَلَتُقَسِّمُنَّ كُنُوزَهُمَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ  

ahmad:8143

Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: I have prepared for My pious servants which no eye (has ever) seen, no ear has (ever) heard and no human heart has ever perceived those bounties leaving apart (those bounties) about which Allah has informed you. (Using translation from Muslim 2824b)   

أحمد:٨١٤٣

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَالَ أَعْدَدْتُ لِعِبَادِي الصَّالِحِينَ مَا لَا عَيْنٌ رَأَتْ وَلَا أُذُنٌ سَمِعَتْ وَلَا خَطَرَ عَلَى قَلْبِ بَشَرٍ

The Prophet said: "Leave me as I have left you (Don't ask me the minor things that I have avoided to tell you). For those who came before you were doomed because of their questions and differences with their Prophets. If I commanded you to do something, then do as much of it as you can, and if I forbid you from doing something, then refrain from it." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2)   

أحمد:٨١٤٤

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَرُونِي مَا تَرَكْتُكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا هَلَكَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ بِسُؤَالِهِمْ وَاخْتِلَافِهِمْ عَلَى أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ فَإِذَا نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ وَإِذَا أَمَرْتُكُمْ بِأَمْرٍ فَأْتَمِرُوا مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ  

ahmad:8145

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the call to prayer for Fajr prayer is announced and one of you is in a state of sexual impurity (janabah), let him not fast on that day.'"  

أحمد:٨١٤٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ وَأَحَدُكُمْ جُنُبٌ فَلَا يَصُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ  

ahmad:8146

the Messenger of Allah (saas) said: "Allah has ninety-nine Names, one hundred less one. Whoever counts them will enter Paradise." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3860)   

أحمد:٨١٤٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِلَّهِ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ اسْمًا مِائَةٌإِلَّا وَاحِدًا مَنْ أَحْصَاهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِنَّهُ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ

When one of you looks at one who stands at a higher level than you in regard to wealth and physical structure he should also see one who stands at a lower level than you in regard to these things (in which he stands) at a higher level (as compared to him). (Using translation from Muslim 2963a)  

أحمد:٨١٤٧

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا نَظَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى مَنْ فُضِّلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالْخُلُقِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُ مِمَّنْ فُضِّلَ عَلَيْهِ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 366)   

أحمد:٨١٤٨

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ طُهْرُ إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِيهِ أَنْ يَغْسِلَهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, I have indeed intended to command my young men to prepare for me bundles of firewood, and then I would command a man to lead the people in prayer, and then we would burn the houses with those inside them.'"  

أحمد:٨١٤٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ فِتْيَانِي أَنْ يَسْتَعِدُّوا لِي بِحُزَمٍ مِنْ حَطَبٍ ثُمَّ آمُرَ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي لِلنَّاسِ ثُمَّ نُحَرِّقَ بُيُوتًا عَلَى مَنْ فِيهَا

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I have been granted victory through fear, and I have been given comprehensive speech.'"  

أحمد:٨١٥٠

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَأُوتِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you's shoe lace or sandal strap is broken, then do not walk wearing one shoe with the other foot bare, but instead wear both shoes or remove both shoes."  

أحمد:٨١٥١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ نَعْلِ أَحَدِكُمْ أَوْ شِرَاكُهُ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي إِحْدَاهُمَا بِنَعْلٍ وَالْأُخْرَى حَافِيَةٌ لِيُحْفِهِمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيَنْعَلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا  

ahmad:8152

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: A vow does not provide for the son of Adam anything which I did not decree for him, but a vow draws it. A Divine decree is one which I have destined, it is extracted from a miser. He is given what he was not given before. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3288)   

أحمد:٨١٥٢

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَأْتِي ابْنَ آدَمَ النَّذْرُ بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ أَكُنْ قَدَّرْتُهُ لَهُ وَلَكِنَّهُ يَلْقِيهِ النَّذْرُ بِمَا قد قَدَّرْتُهُ لَهُ يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الْبَخِيلِ يُؤْتِينِي عَلَيْهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ آتَانِي عَلَيْهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ  

ahmad:8153

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah said to me, 'Spend, and I will spend on you,' and He named war as deception."  

أحمد:٨١٥٣

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَالَ لِي أَنْفِقْ أُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ وَسَمَّى الْحَرْبَ خَدْعَةً  

ahmad:8154

You committed theft. He said: Nay. By Him besides Whom there is no god (I have not committed theft). Thereupon Jesus said: I affirm my faith in Allah It is my ownself that deceived me. (Using translation from Muslim 2368)   

أحمد:٨١٥٤

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ رَجُلًا يَسْرِقُ فَقَالَ لَهُ عِيسَى سَرَقْتَ؟ قَالَ كَلَّا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ قَالَ عِيسَى آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَكَذَّبْتُ عَيْنِي  

ahmad:8155

The Prophet ﷺ said: It is not on my own that I give you or withhold from you: I am just a treasure, putting it where I have been commanded. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2949)   

أحمد:٨١٥٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَاللهِ مَا أُوتِيكُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ وَلَا أَمْنَعُكُمُوهُ إِنْ أَنَا إِلَّا خَازِنٌ أَضَعُ حَيْثُ أُمِرْتُ  

ahmad:8156

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Imam is to be followed. Say the Takbir when he says it; bow if he bows; if he says 'Samiʿa l-lahu liman hamidah', say, ' Rabbana wa laka l-hamd', prostrate if he prostrates and pray sitting altogether if he prays sitting." (Using translation from Bukhārī 734)  

أحمد:٨١٥٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِفَلَا تَخْتَلِفُوا عَلَيْهِ فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا وَإِذَا صَلَّى جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا أَجْمَعُونَ  

ahmad:8157

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Establish the rows in prayer, for indeed, the proper arrangement of rows is part of the excellence of prayer."  

أحمد:٨١٥٧

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَقِيمُوا الصَّفَّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ إِقَامَةَ الصَّفِّ مِنْ حُسْنِ الصَّلَاةِ

There was argument between Adam and Moses, and Adam came the better of Moses. Moses said to him: You are the same Adam who misled people, and caused them to get out of Paradise. Adam said: You are the same (Moses) whom Allah endowed the knowledge of everything and selected him amongst the people as His Messenger. He said: Yes. Adam then again said: Even then you blame me for an affair which had been ordained for me before I was created. (Using translation from Muslim 2652b)   

أحمد:٨١٥٨قَالَ

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَحَاجَّ آدَمُ وَمُوسَى فَقَالَ لَهُ مُوسَى أَنْتَ آدَمُ الَّذِي أَغْوَيْتَ النَّاسَ وَأَخْرَجْتَهُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ آدَمُ أَنْتَ مُوسَى الَّذِي أَعْطَاكَ اللهُ عِلْمَ كُلِّشَيْءٍ وَاصْطَفَاكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بِرِسَالَتِهِ ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَتَلُومُنِي عَلَى أَمْرٍ كَانَ قَدْ كُتِبَ عَلَيَّ أَنْ أَفْعَلَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ أُخْلَقَ؟ قَالَ فَحَاجَّ آدَمُ مُوسَى  

ahmad:8159

The Prophet ﷺ said, "While Job was naked, taking a bath, a swarm of gold locusts fell on him and he started collecting them in his garment. His Lord called him, 'O Job! Have I not made you rich enough to need what you see? He said, 'Yes, O Lord! But I cannot dispense with your Blessing."' (Using translation from Bukhārī 3391)  

أحمد:٨١٥٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَمَا أَيُّوبُ يَغْتَسِلُ عُرْيَانًا خَرَّ عَلَيْهِ جَرَادٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَجَعَلَ أَيُّوبُ يَحْثِي فِي ثَوْبِهِ فَنَادَاهُ رَبُّهُ يَا أَيُّوبُ أَلَمْ أَكُنْ أَغْنَيْتُكَ عَمَّا تَرَى؟ قَالَ بَلَى يَا رَبِّ وَلَكِنْ لَا غِنَى بِي عَنْ بَرَكَتِكَ  

ahmad:8160

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said that the recitation was made easy for Dawud, ﷺ , so he would command his mount to be saddled and would recite the Qur'an before his mount was saddled, and he would not eat except from the work of his own hands.  

أحمد:٨١٦٠

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خُفِّفَتْ عَلَى دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ الْقِرَاءَةُ فَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِدَابَّتِهِ تُسْرَجُ فَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تُسْرَجَ دَابَّتُهُ وَكَانَ لَا يَأْكُلُ إِلَّا مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدَيْهِ  

ahmad:8161

The vision of a pious man is the forty-sixth part of Prophecy. (Using translation from Muslim 2263g)  

أحمد:٨١٦١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رُؤْيَا الرَّجُلِ الصَّالِحِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ

The young should salute the old, the one who is passing by should salute the one who is sitting, and a small company should salute a large one. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5198)  

أحمد:٨١٦٢

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِيُسَلِّمِ الصَّغِيرُ عَلَى الْكَبِيرِ وَالْمَارُّ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِ وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ  

ahmad:8163

“I have been commanded to fight the people until they say: La ilaha illallah. If they say it, then their blood and wealth are protected from me, except for a right that is due from it, and their reckoning will be with Allah.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3927)   

أحمد:٨١٦٣وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا أَزَالُ أُقَاتِلُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَإِذَا قَالُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَقَدْ عَصَمُوا مِنِّي أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَأَنْفُسَهُمْ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللهِ ﷻ  

ahmad:8164

The Paradise and the Hell fell into dispute and the Hell said: 1 have been distinguished for accommodating (the haughty and proud in me), and the Paradise said: What is the matter that the meek and the humble and the downtrodden and simple would find an abode in me? Thereupon Allah said to Paradise: You are a (means) of My Mercy. 1 shall show mercy through you to one whom I will from amongst My servants. And lie said to the Hell: You are a (sign) of My chastisement and I shall chastise through you anyone whom I will from amongst My servants and both of you, would be full. And as regards the Hell it would not be full until Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, places His foot therein, and it would say: Enough, enough, enough, and it would be then full and the one part would draw very close to the other one and Allah would not treat unjustly anyone amongst His creation and He would create another creation for the Paradise (to accommodate it). أحمد:٨١٦٤

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَحَاجَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ وَالنَّارُ فَقَالَتِ النَّارُ أُوثِرْتُ بِالْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ وَالْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ وَقَالَتِ الْجَنَّةُ فَمَا لِي لَا يَدْخُلُنِي إِلَّا ضُعَفَاءُ النَّاسِ وَسَفَلَتُهُمْ وَغِرَّتُهُمْ؟ فَقَالَ اللهُ ﷻ لِلْجَنَّةِ إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِي وَقَالَ لِلنَّارِ إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أُعَذِّبُ بِكِ مَنْ أَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِي وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْكُمَا مِلْؤُهَا فَأَمَّا النَّارُ فَلَا تَمْتَلِئُ حَتَّى يَضَعَ اللهُ ﷻرِجْلَهُ فَتَقُولُ قَطْ قَطْ أَيْ حَسْبِي فَهُنَالِكَ تَمْتَلِئُ وَيُزْوَى بَعْضُهَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ وَلَا يَظْلِمُ اللهُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ أَحَدًا وَأَمَّا الْجَنَّةُ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يُنْشِئُ لَهَا خَلْقًا

When anyone wipes himself with pebbles (after answering the call of nature) he should do this odd number of times. (Using translation from Muslim 239)  

أحمد:٨١٦٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُوتِرْ  

ahmad:8166

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah said, 'When my servant intends to do a good deed, I record it as a good deed for him even if he does not perform it. And if he performs it, I record it for him as ten good deeds. And if he intends to commit a bad deed, but does not do it, I forgive it for him. And if he commits it, I record it as one bad deed for him.'"  

أحمد:٨١٦٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ إِذَا تَحَدَّثَ عَبْدِي بِأَنْ يَعْمَلَ حَسَنَةً فَأَنَا أَكْتُبُهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً مَا لَمْ يَفْعَلْ فَإِذَا عَمِلَهَا فَأَنَا أَكْتُبُهَا لَهُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا وَإِذَا تَحَدَّثَ بِأَنْ يَفْعَلَ سَيِّئَةً فَأَنَاأَغْفِرُهَا مَا لَمْ يَفْعَلْهَا فَإِذَا عَمِلَهَا فَأَنَا أَكْتُبُهَا لَهُ بِمِثْلِهَا  

ahmad:8167

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The tying of a whip from Paradise by one of you is better than what is between the heavens and the earth."  

أحمد:٨١٦٧وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَقَيْدُ سَوْطِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ

This is what Abu Huraira transmitted to us from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he narrated many of them;- one of them was: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The lowest in rank among you in Paradise would be asked: Desire (whatever you like). And he would express his desire and again and again express a desire. tHe would be asked: Have you expressed your desire? He would say: Yes. Then He (Allah) would say: For thee is (granted) what thou desirest, and the like of it along with it. (Using translation from Muslim 182c)  

أحمد:٨١٦٨

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَدْنَى مَقْعَدِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ تَمَنَّ فَيَتَمَنَّى وَيَتَمَنَّى فَيَقُولُ لَهُ هَلْتَمَنَّيْتَ؟ فَيَقُولُ نَعَمْ فَيَقُولُ لَهُ فَإِنَّ لَكَ مَا تَمَنَّيْتَ وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ
