[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If it were not for migration, I would have been one of the Ansar. And if people were to go one way and the Ansar another way, I would have gone with the Ansar in their way."  

أحمد:٨١٦٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلَوْ يَنْدَفِعُ النَّاسُ فِي شُعْبَةٍ أَوْ فِي وَادٍ وَالْأَنْصَارُ فِي شُعْبَةٍ لَانْدَفَعْتُ مَعَ الْأَنْصَارِ فِي شِعْبِهِمْ  

ahmad:8170Qāl

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Were it not for Bani Israel, meat would not decay; and were it not for Eve, no woman would ever betray her husband." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3399)  

أحمد:٨١٧٠

وَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْلَا بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ لَمْ يَخْنَزِ اللَّحْمُ وَلَوْلَا حَوَّاءُ لَمْ تَخُنْ أُنْثَى زَوْجَهَا الدَّهْرَ

Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created Adam in His image with His length of sixty cubits, and as He created him He told him to greet that group, and that was a party of angels sitting there, and listen to the response that they give him, for it would form his greeting and that of his offspring. He then went away and said: Peace be upon you! They (the angels) said: May there be peace upon you and the Mercy of Allah, and they made an addition of" Mercy of Allah". So he who would get into Paradise would get in the form of Adam, his length being sixty cubits, then the people who followed him continued to diminish in size up to this day. أحمد:٨١٧١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَلَقَ اللهُ ﷻ آدَمَ عَلَى صُورَتِهِ طُولُهُ سِتُّونَ ذِرَاعًا فَلَمَّا خَلَقَهُ قَالَ لَهُ اذْهَبْ فَسَلِّمْ عَلَى أُولَئِكَ النَّفَرِ وَهُمْ نَفَرٌ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ جُلُوسٌ فَاسْتَمِعْ مَا يُجِيبُونَكَ فَإِنَّهَا تَحِيَّتُكَ وَتَحِيَّةُ ذُرِّيَّتِكَ قَالَ فَذَهَبَ فَقَالَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَقَالُوا السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ فَزَادُوهُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ قَالَ فَكُلُّ مَنْ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ عَلَى صُورَةِ آدَمَ وَطُولُهُ سِتُّونَ ذِرَاعًا فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَنْقُصُ الْخَلْقُ بَعْدُ حَتَّى الْآنَ  

ahmad:8172Qāl

Respond (to the call) of Allah (i. e. be prepared for death). Moses (peace be upon him) gave a blow at the eye of the Angel of Death and knocked it out. The Angel went back to Allah (the Exalted) and said: You sent me to your servant who does not like to die and he knocked out my eye. Allah restored his eye to its proper place (and revived his eyesight) and said: Go to My servant and say: Do you want life? And in case you want life, keep your hand on the body of the ox and you would live such number of years as the (number of) hair your hand covers. He (Moses) said: What, then? He said: Then you would die, whereupon he (Moses) said: Then why not now? (He then prayed): Allah, cause me to die close to the sacred land. Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Had I been near that place I would have shown his grave by the side of the path at the red mound. (Using translation from Muslim 2372b)  

أحمد:٨١٧٢

وَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَاءَ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ إِلَى مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَجِبْ رَبَّكَ قَالَ فَلَطَمَ مُوسَى عَيْنَ مَلَكِ الْمَوْتِ فَفَقَأَهَا قَالَ فَرَجَعَ الْمَلَكُ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ فَقَالَ إِنَّكَ أَرْسَلْتَنِي إِلَى عَبْدٍ لَكَ لَا يُرِيدُ الْمَوْتَ وَقَدْ فَقَأَ عَيْنِي قَالَ فَرَدَّ اللهُ عَيْنَهُ وَقَالَ ارْجِعْ إِلَى عَبْدِي فَقُلْ الْحَيَاةَ تُرِيدُ؟ فَإِنْ كُنْتَ تُرِيدُ الْحَيَاةَ فَضَعْ يَدَكَ عَلَى مَتْنِ ثَوْرٍ فَمَا تَوَارَتْ بِيَدِكَ مِنْ شَعْرَةٍ فَإِنَّكَ تَعِيشُ بِهَا سَنَةً قَالَ ثُمَّ مَهْ؟ قَالَ ثُمَّ تَمُوتُ قَالَ فَالْآنَ مِنْ قَرِيبٍ قَالَ رَبِّ أَدْنِنِي مِنَ الْأَرْضِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ رَمْيَةًبِحَجَرٍ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَاللهِ لَوْ أَنِّي عِنْدَهُ لَأَرَيْتُكُمْ قَبْرَهُ إِلَى جَنْبِ الطَّرِيقِ عِنْدَ الْكَثِيبِ الْأَحْمَرِ

Banu Isra'il used to take bath (together) naked and thus saw private parts of one another, but Moses (peace be upon him) used to take bath alone (in privacy), and they said: By Allah, nothing prevents Moses to take bath along with us; but scrotal hernia. One day when he (Moses) was taking bath (alone) he placed his clothes upon a stone, but the stone began to move along with his clothes. Moses raced after it saying: My garment, stone; until (some of the people) of Banu Isra'il looked at the private parts of Moses, and they said: By Allah, there is no trouble with Moses. The stone stopped after he (Moses) had been seen. He took hold of his garments and struck the stone. Abu Huraira said: I swear by Allah that there were six or seven scars on the stone because of the striking of stone by Moses (peace be upon him). (Using translation from Muslim 339b)  

أحمد:٨١٧٣

وقَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ يَغْتَسِلُونَ عُرَاةً يَنْظُرُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى سَوْأَةِ بَعْضٍ وَكَانَ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَغْتَسِلُ وَحْدَهُ فَقَالُوا وَاللهِ مَا يَمْنَعُ مُوسَى أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ مَعَنَا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ آدَرُ قَالَ فَذَهَبَ مَرَّةً يَغْتَسِلُ فَوَضَعَ ثَوْبَهُ عَلَى حَجَرٍ فَفَرَّ الْحَجَرُ بِثَوْبِهِ قَالَ فَجَمَحَ مُوسَى بِأَثَرِهِ يَقُولُ ثَوْبِي حَجَرُ ثَوْبِي حَجَرُ حَتَّى نَظَرَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَى سَوْأَةِ مُوسَى وَقَالُوا وَاللهِ مَا بِمُوسَى مِنْ بَأْسٍ فَقَامَ الْحَجَرُ بَعْدُ حَتَّى نَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَأَخَذَ ثَوْبَهُ وَطَفِقَ بِالْحَجَرِ ضَرْبًا فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَاللهِ إِنَّ بِالْحَجَرِ نَدَبًا سِتَّةً أَوْ سَبْعَةً ضَرْبُ مُوسَى بِالْحَجَرِ  

ahmad:8174

“Richness is not an abundance of worldly goods, rather richness is contentment with one’s lot.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4137)  

أحمد:٨١٧٤

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ  

ahmad:8175

“(Wrongdoing) is when a rich man takes a long time to repay a debt, and if one of you is referred to a rich man (to collect a debt), he should accept that referral.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2403)  

أحمد:٨١٧٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنَ الظُّلْمِ مَطْلَ الْغَنِيِّ وَإِذَا أُتْبِعَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى مَلِيءٍ فَلْيَتْبَعْ

The most wretched person in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection and the worst person and target of His wrath would of the person who is called Malik al-Amlak (the King of Kings) for there is no king but Allah. (Using translation from Muslim 2143b)   

أحمد:٨١٧٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَغْيَظُ رَجُلٍ عَلَى اللهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَخْبَثُهُ وَأَغْيَظُهُ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ كَانَ يُسَمَّى مَلِكَ الْأَمْلَاكِ لَا مَلِكَ إِلَّا اللهُ ﷻ  

ahmad:8177

There was a person who walked with pride because of his (fine) mantles and well pleased with his personality. Allah made him sink in the earth and he would go on sinking in that until the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 2088c)   

أحمد:٨١٧٧

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَتَبَخْتَرُ فِي بُرْدَيْنِ وَقَدْ أَعْجَبَتْهُ نَفْسُهُ خُسِفَتْ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ فَهُوَ يَتَجَلْجَلُ فِيهَا حَتَّى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ  

ahmad:8178

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has said, 'I am as My servant thinks of Me.'"  

أحمد:٨١٧٨

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي

Every child is born on Islam, but his parents make him a Jew and a Christian, just as a beast is born whole. Do you find some among them (born) maimed? The people asked : Messenger of Allah! What do you think about the one who died while he was young? He replied : Allah knows best what he was going to do. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4714)   

أحمد:٨١٧٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ إِلَّا عَلَى هَذِهِ الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ كَمَا تُنْتِجُونَ الْإِبِلَ فَهَلْ تَجِدُونَ فِيهَا جَدْعَاءَ حَتَّى تَكُونُوا أَنْتُمْ تَجْدَعُونَهَا؟ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنْ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ؟ قَالَ اللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ  

ahmad:8180

There is a bone in the human being which the earth would never consume and it is from this that new bodies would be reconstituted (on the Day of Resurrection). They said: Messenger of Allah, which bone is that? Thereupon he said: It is the spinal bone. (Using translation from Muslim 2955c)   

أحمد:٨١٨٠

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ فِي الْإِنْسَانِ عَظْمًا لَا تَأْكُلُهُ الْأَرْضُ أَبَدًا فِيهِ يُرَكَّبُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالُوا أَيُّ عَظْمٍ هُوَ؟ قَالَ عَجَبُ الذَّنَبِ  

ahmad:8181

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of excessive attachment. Beware of excessive attachment." They said, "Are you admonishing us, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "I am not like you. I spend the night being fed and quenched by my Lord, so perform actions according to your capacity."  

أحمد:٨١٨١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْوِصَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْوِصَالَ قَالُوا إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ فِي ذَاكُمْ مِثْلُكُمْ إِنِّي أَبِيتُ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي فَاكْلَفُوا مِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا لَكُمْ بِهِ طَاقَةٌ  

ahmad:8182

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you wakes up from sleep, he should not put his hand in the ablution water until he washes it, for none of you knows where his hand has spent the night."  

أحمد:٨١٨٢

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ فَلَا يَضَعْ يَدَهُ فِي الْوَضُوءِ حَتَّى يَغْسِلَهَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي أَحَدُكُمْ أَيْنَ بَاتَتْ يَدُهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every joint of a person's body must perform a charity every day the sun rises: to act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it, is a charity; a good word is a charity; every step a person takes towards performing Salah (prayer) is a charity, and removing a harmful object from the road is a charity."  

أحمد:٨١٨٣

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كُلُّ سُلَامَى مِنَ النَّاسِ عَلَيْهِ صَدَقَةٌ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ تَعْدِلُ بَيْنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ صَدَقَةٌ وَتُعِينُ الرَّجُلَ فِي دَابَّتِهِ تَحْمِلُهُ عَلَيْهَا أَوْ تَرْفَعُ لَهُ مَتَاعَهُ عَلَيْهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَقَالَ الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ صَدَقَةٌ وَقَالَ كُلُّ خُطْوَةٍ تَمْشِيهَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ صَدَقَةٌ وَتُمِيطُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ  

ahmad:8184

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If the owner of blessings does not give them their due rights, they will be spread out against him on the Day of Resurrection, and his face will be struck with their edges."  

أحمد:٨١٨٤

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَا رَبُّ النَّعَمِ لَمْ يُعْطِ حَقَّهَا بُسِطُ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تَخْبِطُ وَجْهَهُ بِأَخْفَافِهَا

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection the Kanz (Treasure or wealth of which, Zakat has not been paid) of anyone of you will appear in the shape of a huge bald headed poisonous male snake and its owner will run away from it, but it will follow him and say, 'I am your Kanz.'" The Prophet ﷺ added, "By Allah, that snake will keep on following him until he stretches out his hand and let the snake swallow it." Messenger of Allah ﷺ added, "If the owner of camels does not pay their Zakat, then, on the Day of Resurrection those camels will come to him and will strike his face with their hooves." Some people said: Concerning a man who has camels, and is afraid that Zakat will be due so he sells those camels for similar camels or for sheep or cows or money one day before Zakat becomes due in order to avoid payment of their Zakat cunningly! "He has not to pay anything." The same scholar said, "If one pays Zakat of his camels one day or one year prior to the end of the year (by the end of which Zakat becomes due), his Zakat will be valid." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6957)  

أحمد:٨١٨٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَكُونُ كَنْزُ أَحَدِكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ قَالَ يَفِرُّ مِنْهُ صَاحِبُهُ وَيَطْلُبُهُ وَيَقُولُ أَنَا كَنْزُكَ قَالَ وَاللهِ لَنْ يَزَالَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَتَّى يَبْسُطَ يَدَهُ فَيُلْقِمَهَا فَاهُ  

ahmad:8186

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not urinate in stagnant water that does not flow, then cleanse yourself from it."  

أحمد:٨١٨٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَبُلْ فِي الْمَاءِ الدَّائِمِ الَّذِي لَا يَجْرِي ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلْ مِنْهُ

"The poor man (Miskin) is not the one who goes around asking people and they send him away with a morsel or two, of a date or two. "They said: "Then what does poor (Mishkin) mean?" He said: "The one who does not possess independence of means and no one notices him to give charity to him, and he does not stand and ask of people." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2572)   

أحمد:٨١٨٧

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ الْمِسْكِينُ هَذَا الطَّوَافَ الَّذِي يَطُوفُ عَلَى النَّاسِ تَرُدُّهُ اللُّقْمَةُ وَاللُّقْمَتَانِ وَالتَّمْرَةُوَالتَّمْرَتَانِ إِنَّمَا الْمِسْكِينُ الَّذِي لَا يَجِدُ غِنًى يُغْنِيهِ وَيَسْتَحِي أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ وَلَا يُفْطَنُ لَهُ فَيُتَصَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِ  

ahmad:8188

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A woman should not fast (optional fasts) except with her husband's permission if he is at home (staying with her). (Using translation from Bukhārī 5192)  

أحمد:٨١٨٨

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَصُومُ الْمَرْأَةُ وَبَعْلُهَا شَاهِدٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ وَلَا تَأْذَنُ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَهُوَ شَاهِدٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ وَمَا أَنْفَقَتْ مِنْ كَسْبِهِ عَنْ غَيْرِ أَمْرِهِ فَإِنَّ نِصْفَ أَجْرِهِ لَهُ  

ahmad:8189

Abu Huraira narrated to us ahadith from Messenger of Allah ﷺ and out of these one is that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: None amongst you should make a request for death, and do not call for it before it comes, for when any one of you dies, he ceases (to do good) deeds and the life of a believer is not prolonged but for goodness. (Using translation from Muslim 2682)   

أحمد:٨١٨٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَتَمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ وَلَا يَدْعُ بِهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُ إِنَّهُ إِذَا مَاتَ أَحَدُكُمُ انْقَطَعَ عَمَلُهُ وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَزِيدُ الْمُؤْمِنَ عُمْرُهُ إِلَّا خَيْرًا

None of you should use the word al-karm for 'Inab, for karm (worthy of respect) is a Muslim person. (Using translation from Muslim 2247e)   

أحمد:٨١٩٠

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلْعِنَبِ الْكَرْمَ إِنَّمَا الْكَرْمُ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man bought a piece of land from another man, and the buyer found an earthenware jar filled with gold in the land. The buyer said to the seller. 'Take your gold, as I have bought only the land from you, but I have not bought the gold from you.' The (former) owner of the land said, "I have sold you the land with everything in it.' So both of them took their case before a man who asked, 'Do you have children?' One of them said, "I have a boy.' The other said, "I have a girl.' The man said, 'Marry the girl to the boy and spend the money on both of them and give the rest of it in charity.'" (Using translation from Bukhārī 3472)  

أحمد:٨١٩١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اشْتَرَى رَجُلٌ مِنْ رَجُلٍ عَقَارًا لَهُ فَوَجَدَ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي اشْتَرَى الْعَقَارَ فِي عَقَارِهِ جَرَّةً فِيهَا ذَهَبٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ الَّذِي اشْتَرَى الْعَقَارَ خُذْ ذَهَبَكَ مِنِّي إِنَّمَا اشْتَرَيْتُ مِنْكَ الْأَرْضَ وَلَمْ أَبْتَعْ مِنْكَ الذَّهَبَ وَقَالَ الَّذِي بَاعَ الْأَرْضَ إِنَّمَا بِعْتُكَ الْأَرْضَ وَمَا فِيهَا قَالَ فَتَحَاكَمَا إِلَى رَجُلٍ فَقَالَ الَّذِي تَحَاكَمَا إِلَيْهِ أَلَكُمَا وَلَدٌ؟ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا لِي غُلَامٌ وَقَالَ الْآخَرُلِي جَارِيَةٌ قَالَ أَنْكِحِ الْغُلَامَ الْجَارِيَةَ وَأَنْفِقُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمَا مِنْهُ وَتَصَدَّقَا

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Does anyone of you rejoice when he loses his camel and then finds it?' They replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant when he repents than one of you who finds his lost camel.'"  

أحمد:٨١٩٢

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيَفْرَحُ أَحَدُكُمْ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ إِذَا ضَلَّتْ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ وَجَدَهَا؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَلَّهُ أَشَدُّ فَرَحًا بِتَوْبَةِ عَبْدِهِ إِذَا تَابَ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ إِذَا وَجَدَهَا

When My servant draws close to me by the span of a palm, I draw close to him by the space of a cubit, and when he draws close to Me by the space of a cubit, I draw close to him by the space (covered) by two hands, and when he draws close to Me by the space (covered by) two hands, I go in hurry towards him. (Using translation from Muslim 2675c)

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَالَ إِذَا تَلَقَّانِي عَبْدِي بِشِبْرٍ تَلَقَّيْتُهُ بِذِرَاعٍ وَإِذَا تَلَقَّانِي بِذِرَاعٍ تَلَقَّيْتُهُ بِبَاعٍ وَإِذَا تَلَقَّانِي بِبَاعٍ جِئْتُهُ أَتَيْتُهُ بِأَسْرَعَ  

ahmad:8194

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you performs ablution, let him inhale water through his nostrils and then exhale it."  

أحمد:٨١٩٤

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَنْشِقْ بِمَنْخِرَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَاءِ ثُمَّ لِيَنْثُرْ  

ahmad:8195

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if I were to have a mountain of gold, I would prefer that it not remain with me for three nights, and I would have a dinar of it left for someone to take from me, without keeping even a single dirham of it owed to me."  

أحمد:٨١٩٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْأَنَّ أُحُدًا عِنْدِي ذَهَبًا لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ لَا يَأْتِيَ عَلَيَّ ثَلَاثُ لَيَالٍ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ أَجِدُ مَنْ يَقْبَلُهُ مِنِّي لَيْسَ شَيْئًا أَرْصُدُهُ فِي دَيْنٍ عَلَيَّ  

ahmad:8196

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, when the cook brings your food, having saved you from the trouble of its heat and smoke, invite him so that he may eat with you, otherwise give it to him in his hand."  

أحمد:٨١٩٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَكُمُ الصَّانِعُ بِطَعَامِكُمْ قَدْ أَغْنَى عَنْكُمْ عَنَاءَ حَرِّهِ وَدُخَانِهِ فَادْعُوهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْ مَعَكُمْ وَإِلَّا فَأَلْقِمُوهُ فِي يَدِهِ  

ahmad:8197

None of you should say: Supply drink to your lord, feed your lord, help your lord in performing ablution, and none of you should say: My Lord. He should say: My chief, my patron; and none of you should say: My bondman, my slave-girl, but simply say: My boy, my girl, my servant. (Using translation from Muslim 2249d)   

أحمد:٨١٩٧

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ اسْقِ رَبَّكَ أَطْعِمْ رَبَّكَ وَضِّئْ رَبَّكَ وَلَا يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ رَبِّي وَلْيَقُلْ سَيِّدِي وَمَوْلَايَ وَلَا يَقُلْ أَحَدُكُمْ عَبْدِي وَأَمَتِي وَلْيَقُلْ فَتَايَ فَتَاتِي وَغُلَامِي  

ahmad:8198

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The first group (of people) who will enter Paradise will be (glittering) like the moon when it is full. They will not spit or blow their noses or relieve nature. Their utensils will be of gold and their combs of gold and silver; in their centers the aloe wood will be used, and their sweat will smell like musk. Everyone of them will have two wives; the marrow of the bones of the wives' legs will be seen through the flesh out of excessive beauty. They ( i.e. the people of Paradise) will neither have differences nor hatred amongst themselves; their hearts will be as if one heart and they will be glorifying Allah in the morning and in the evening." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3245)  

أحمد:٨١٩٨

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَوَّلُ زُمْرَةٍ تَلِجُ الْجَنَّةَ صُوَرُهُمْ عَلَى صُورَةِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ لَا يَبْصُقُونَ فِيهَا وَلَا يَتَمَخَّطُونَ فِيهَا وَلَا يَتَغَوَّطُونَ فِيهَا آنِيَتُهُمْ وَأَمْشَاطُهُمُ الذَّهَبُ وَالْفِضَّةُ وَمَجَامِرُهُمْ الْأَلُوَّةُ وَرَشْحُهُمُ الْمِسْكُ وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْزَوْجَتَانِ يَرَى مُخَّ سَاقَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَرَاءِ اللَّحْمِ مِنَ الْحُسْنِ لَا اخْتِلَافَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَلَا تَبَاغُضَ قُلُوبُهُمْ عَلَى قَلْبٍ وَاحِدٍ يُسَبِّحُونَ اللهَ بُكْرَةً وَعَشِيًّا  

ahmad:8199

O Allah, I make a covenant with Thee against which Thou wouldst never go. I am a human being and thus for a Muslim whom I give any harm or whom I scold or upon whom I invoke curse or whom I beat, make this a source of blessing, purification and nearness to Thee on the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 2601b)   

أحمد:٨١٩٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَّخِذُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ آذَيْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلَاةً وَزَكَاةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ  

ahmad:8200

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The spoils of war were not allowed for those who came before us because Allah saw our weakness and our inability, so He made them lawful for us.  

أحمد:٨٢٠٠

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ تَحِلَّ الْغَنَائِمُ لِمَنْ قَبْلَنَا ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللهَ رَأَى ضَعْفَنَا وَعَجَزَنَا فَطَيَّبَهَا لَنَا  

ahmad:8201

A woman got into Hell-Fire because of a cat whom she had tied, and thus it could not eat, and she did not let it free so that it could devour the vermin of the earth, until it died. (Using translation from Muslim 2619)   

أحمد:٨٢٠١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَتِ النَّارَ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ هِرَّةٍ لَهَا أَوْ هِرٍّ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا وَلَا هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا تُرَمِّمُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ هَزْلًا  

ahmad:8202

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A believer does not steal while he is a believer, nor does a believer commit adultery while he is a believer, nor does a believer drink alcohol while he is a believer, meaning wine. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, none of you should seize the goods of a revered person being delivered to him while he is a believer, with the believers raising their eyes towards it, and he is a believer while seizing it. And none of you should plunder while he is a believer, and he is a believer while plundering. And none of you should hoard while he is a believer, and he is a believer while hoarding. So beware, beware!"  

أحمد:٨٢٠٢

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَسْرِقُ سَارِقٌ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَزْنِي زَانٍ وَهُوَ حِينَ يَزْنِي مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَشْرَبُ الشَّارِبُ حِينَ يَشْرَبُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ يَعْنِي الْخَمْرَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ وَلَا يَنْتَهِبُ أَحَدُكُمْ نُهْبَةً ذَاتَ شَرَفٍ يَرْفَعُ إِلَيْهِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ فِيهَا وَهُوَ حِينَ يَنْتَهِبُهَا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَغِلُّ أَحَدُكُمْ حِينَ يَغِلُّ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَإِيَّاكُمْ إِيَّاكُمْ  

ahmad:8203

By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad, he who amongst the community of Jews or Christians hears about me, but does not affirm his belief in that with which I have been sent and dies in this state (of disbelief), he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire. (Using translation from Muslim 153)  

أحمد:٨٢٠٣

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَا يَسْمَعُ بِي أَحَدٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ وَلَا يَهُودِيٌّ وَلَا نَصْرَانِيٌّ وَمَاتَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِنْ بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ إِلَّا كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ  

ahmad:8204

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying; Glorifying Allah applies to men and clapping applies only to women. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 939)   

أحمد:٨٢٠٤

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ التَّسْبِيحُ لِلْقَوْمِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ  

ahmad:8205

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Every word spoken by a Muslim in the way of Allah, and then it would be on the Day of Resurrection as its appearance when it was stabbed; it gushes out blood the color of blood, and the aroma is the aroma of musk. Abdullah bin Ahmad said: My father said: The aroma means the scent."  

أحمد:٨٢٠٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كُلُّ كَلْمٍ يُكْلَمُهُ الْمُسْلِمُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ثُمَّ يَكُونُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَهَيْئَتِهَا إِذَا طُعِنَتْ تَنْفَجِرُ دَمًا اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ الدَّمِ وَالْعَرْفُ عَرْفُ الْمِسْكِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَ أَبِي يَعْنِي الْعَرْفَ الرِّيحَ  

ahmad:8206

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By Allah, I often return to my family and find a date fallen on my bed or in my house, so I raise it to eat it. But then I fear that it may be a charity, so I give it away."  

أحمد:٨٢٠٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَنْقَلِبُ إِلَى أَهْلِي فَأَجِدُ التَّمْرَةَ سَاقِطَةً عَلَى فِرَاشِي أَوْ فِي بَيْتِي فَأَرْفَعُهَا لِآكُلَهَا ثُمَّأَخْشَى أَنْ تَكُونَ صَدَقَةً فَأُلْقِيهَا  

ahmad:8207

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You will continue to seek consultation until one of you says, 'This is Allah who created the creation, so who created Allah?'"  

أحمد:٨٢٠٧

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَزَالُونَ تَسْتَفْتُونَ حَتَّى يَقُولَ أَحَدُكُمْ هَذَا اللهُ خَلَقَ الْخَلْقَ فَمَنْ خَلَقَ اللهَ ﷻ  

ahmad:8208

"By Allah, if anyone of you insists on fulfilling an oath by which he may harm his family, he commits a greater sin in Allah's sight than that of dissolving his oath and making expiation for it." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6625)  

أحمد:٨٢٠٨

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَاللهِ لَأَنْ يَلَجَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِيَمِينِهِ فِي أَهْلِهِ آثَمُ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْطِيَ كَفَّارَتَهُ الَّتِي فَرَضَ اللهُ ﷻ  

ahmad:8209

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When two people are compelled to take an oath, but they both prefer to go to the right, then let them fulfill their oath by doing so."  

أحمد:٨٢٠٩

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أُكْرِهَ الِاثْنَانِ عَلَى الْيَمِينِ وَاسْتَحَبَّاهَا فَلْيَسْتَهِمَا عَلَيْهَا  

ahmad:8210

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'When any one of you buys a pregnant she-camel or a pregnant ewe, then he is considered to have made the better choice out of two options, after milking it. If not, then he should return it and take a measure of dates.'"  

أحمد:٨٢١٠

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَا أَحَدُكُمُ اشْتَرَى لِقْحَةً مُصَرَّاةً أَوْ شَاةً مُصَرَّاةً فَهُوَ بِخَيْرِ النَّظَرَيْنِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَحْلُبَهَا إِمَّاهِي وَإِلَّا فَلْيَرُدَّهَا وَصَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ  

ahmad:8211

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Loving two things throughout life and having a lot of wealth."  

أحمد:٨٢١١

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الشَّيْخُ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ طُولِ الْحَيَاةِ وَكَثْرَةِ الْمَالِ  

ahmad:8212

None amongst you should point a weapon towards his brother, for he does not know that Satan might cause the weapon (to slip) from his hand and (he may injure anyone) and thus he may fall into Hell-Fire. (Using translation from Muslim 2617)   

أحمد:٨٢١٢

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَمْشِيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى أَخِيهِ بِالسِّلَاحِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي أَحَدُكُمْ لَعَلَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْزِعُ فِي يَدِهِ فَيَقَعُ فِي حُفْرَةٍ مِنْ نَارٍ  

ahmad:8213

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The anger of Allah has intensified against a nation that harms the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he is gesturing to his companions."  

أحمد:٨٢١٣

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللهِ ﷻ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فَعَلُوا بِرَسُولِ اللهِ وَهُوَ حِينَئِذٍ يُشِيرُ إِلَى رَبَاعِيَتِهِ  

ahmad:8214

[Machine] And said, the anger of Allah intensified against a man who is killed by the Messenger of Allah in the way of Allah.  

أحمد:٨٢١٤

وَقَالَ اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللهِ عَلَى رَجُلٍ يَقْتُلُهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ  

ahmad:8215

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is written upon the son of Adam a portion of adultery that he will inevitably reach. The eyes commit adultery through looking, and it is supported by the desires and the tongue commits adultery through speech, and the heart desires and the private parts confirm or deny what has occurred."  

أحمد:٨٢١٥

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كُتِبَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ نَصِيبٌ مِنَ الزِّنَا أَدْرَكَ لَا مَحَالَةَ فَالْعَيْنُ زِنْيَتُهَا النَّظَرُ وَيُصَدِّقُهَا الْأَعْرَاضُ وَاللِّسَانُ زِنْيَتُهُ الْمَنْطِقُ وَالْقَلْبُ التَّمَنِّي وَالْفَرْجُ يُصَدِّقُ مَا ثَمَّ وَيُكَذِّبُ  

ahmad:8216

Abu Hurairah reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “Whatever town you come to and stay in , your portion is in it, but whatever town disobeys Allaah and His Apostle a fifth of it goes to Allaah and His Apostle and what remains is yours.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3036)   

أحمد:٨٢١٦

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّمَا قَرْيَةٍ أَتَيْتُمُوهَا فَأَقَمْتُمْ فِيهَافَسَهْمُكُمْ فِيهَا وَأَيُّمَا قَرْيَةٍ عَصَتِ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ خُمُسَهَا لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ هِيَ لَكُمْ  

ahmad:8217

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whenever one of you improves his Islam, every good deed he does will be recorded as ten good deeds up to seven hundred times, and every bad deed he does will be recorded as its equivalent until he meets Allah."  

أحمد:٨٢١٧

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَحْسَنَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِسْلَامَهُ فَكُلُّ حَسَنَةٍ يَعْمَلُهَا تُكْتَبُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ وَكُلُّ سَيِّئَةٍ يَعْمَلُهَا تُكْتَبُ لَهُ بِمِثْلِهَا حَتَّى يَلْقَى اللهَ ﷻ  

ahmad:8218

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When any of you leads the prayer for the people, let him shorten the prayer, for among them are the old, the weak, and the sick. But when he prays alone, let him prolong his prayer as much as he wishes."  

أحمد:٨٢١٨

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلنَّاسِفَلْيُخَفِّفِ الصَّلَاةَ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ الْكَبِيرَ وَفِيهِمُ الضَّعِيفَ وَفِيهِمُ السَّقِيمَ وَإِذَا قَامَ وَحْدَهُ فَلْيُطِلْ صَلَاتَهُ مَا شَاءَ
