The Prophet asked, "Do you have a slave to free?" The man answered, "No." The Prophet asked, "Can you fast for two consecutive months?" The man replied, "No, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet asked, "Can you feed sixty poor people?" The man replied, "I cannot find that, O Messenger of Allah." Then, the Prophet was given a fresh date branch and he said, "Go and give this in charity." The man asked, "Is there anyone poorer than me, O Messenger of Allah? By the one who sent you with the truth, among those who live in our neighborhood, there are people who are more in need of it than us." The Messenger of Allah laughed and then said, "Go and give it to your family."

The Prophet ﷺ said (to his companions), "Do not fast Al-Wisal." They said, "But you fast Al-Wisail." He said, "I am not like you, for at night my Lord feeds me and makes me drink." But the people did not give up Al-Wisal, so the Prophet ﷺ fasted Al-Wisal with them for two days or two nights, and then they saw the crescent whereupon the Prophet ﷺ said, "If the crescent had delayed, I would have continued fasting (because of you)," as if he wanted to vanquish them completely (because they had refused to give up Al Wisal). (Using translation from Bukhārī 7299)

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "When I was taken on the Night of Isra I met Musa." He described him saying: "He was a man who was" and I think he said: "A thin man, whose hair was as if he was a man from Shanu'ah." He said: "I met 'Eisa" he described him saying: "Of average build, with a red face, as if he had just come out of the Dimas" meaning the bath-house. "And I saw Ibrahim" he said: "I am the one among his offspring that most resembles him" and he said: "I was brought two vessels, one of them containing milk and the other containing wine. I was told: 'Take whichever one of them you wish.' So I took the milk to drink from it. It was said to me: 'You were guided to the Fitrah' or: 'You chose the Fitrah, if you had take the wine your Ummah would have strayed.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3130)
