"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished a prayer in which he recited out loud, then he said: 'Did any one of you recite with me just now?' A man said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'I was wondering what was distracting me in reciting Quran.'" So the people stopped reciting in prayers in which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited out loud when they heard that. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 919)   

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى صَلَاةً جَهَرَ فِيهَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بَعْدَمَا سَلَّمَ فَقَالَ هَلْ قَرَأَ مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ مَعِي آنِفًا؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ؟ فَانْتَهَى النَّاسُ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِيمَا يَجْهَرُ بِهِ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ حِينَ سَمِعُوا ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the Dhuhr or Asr prayer, then he made the salaam in the two units of prayer, then he turned and the people quickly left. They said, "The prayer was made light." The one with the two hands said, "Was the prayer made light or did you forget?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "What does the one with the two hands say?" They said, "He speaks the truth." So he prayed the two units of prayer that he had left, then he made two prostrations while he was sitting after he had made the salaam.  

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ أَوِ الْعَصْرَ فَسَلَّمَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَخَرَجَ سُرْعَانُ النَّاسِ فَقَالُوا خُفِّفَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَقَالَ ذُو الشِّمَالَيْنِ أَخُفِّفَتِ الصَّلَاةُ أَمْ نَسِيتَ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَا يَقُولُ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ؟ قَالُوا صَدَقَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ تَرَكَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ بَعْدَ مَا سَلَّمَ  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Do not make your houses graveyards, for surely the devil flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.'"  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ مَقَابِرَ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَفِرُّ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي يُقْرَأُ فِيهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ  

Messenger of Allah (S) said: "Indeed the Shaitan comes to one of you in his Salat confusing him until he does now know how much he has prayed. When one of you experiences that then let him perform two prostrations while sitting." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 397)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَيَلْبِسُ عَلَيْهِ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلَا يَدْرِي أَزَادَ أَمْ نَقَصَ فَإِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَلِكَ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "On Friday, there is an hour when, if a Muslim slave asks Allah for something at that time, He will give it to him." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1431)  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةً لَا يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ يَسْأَلُ اللهَ فِيهَا شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "On Friday, there is an hour when, if a Muslim slave asks Allah for something at that time, He will give it to him." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1431)  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةً لَا يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ يَسْأَلُ اللهَ فِيهَا شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade receiving al-Ajlāb, so whoever receives and buys it, its owner should have a choice when the market drops.  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ تَلَقِّي الْأَجْلَابِ فَمَنْ تَلَقَّى وَاشْتَرَى فَصَاحِبُهُ بِالْخِيَارِ إِذَا هَبَطَ السُّوقَ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Allah's curse to be on the Jews, they made the graves of their Prophets mosques. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3227)   

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَاتَلَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ  

Verily Allah does not look to your faces and your wealth but He looks to your heart and to your deeds. (Using translation from Muslim 2564c)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى صُوَرِكُمْ وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ  

"The injuries caused by the best are without liability, and wells are without liability, and mines are without liability, and the Khumus is due on Rikaz." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2497)  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْعَجْمَاءُ جَرْحُهَا جُبَارٌ وَالْبِئْرُ جُبَارٌ وَالْمَعْدِنُ جُبَارٌ وَفِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسُ  

The Prophet ﷺ said, "In very hot weather delay the Zuhr prayer till it becomes (a bit) cooler because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire. The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So Allah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold." (Using translation from Bukhārī 536)  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ  

"Does everyone of you have two garments?" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 763)   

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ أَيُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ؟ فَقَالَ أَلِكُلِّكُمْ ثَوْبَانِ؟  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and Abdullah ibn Razzāq did not narrate it: "May Allah's curse be upon the Jews and Christians, for they have taken the graves of their prophets as places of worship."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَاتَلَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ والنَّصَارَى اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Allah has not permitted anything that he has permitted for a Prophet." Abdullah ibn Razzaq asked him: "To whom does this permission apply?" The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , replied: "To the one who recites the Quran aloud."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ يَأْذَنِ اللهُ لِشَيْءٍ مَا أَذِنَ لِنَبِيٍّ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ لِمَنْ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِقَالَ صَاحِبٌ لَهُ زَادَ فِيمَا يَجْهَرُ بِهِ  

[Machine] Abu Huraira prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a loud voice, then he said the salutation and faced the people. He said, "Did anyone recite with me beforehand?" They said, "Yes, Messenger of Allah." He said, "Why did I not compete with the Quran?"  

أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةً يَجْهَرُ فِيهَا ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَقَالَ هَلْ قَرَأَ مَعِي أَحَدٌ آنِفًا؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ؟  

In every prayer there is a recitation. We make you listen what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made us listen, and we keep hidden from you what he kept hidden from us. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 797)   

أَسْمَعَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَسْمَعْنَاكُمْ وَمَا أَخْفَى مِنَّا أَخْفَيْنَاهُ مِنْكُمْ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "May those who have taken the graves of their Prophets as places of worship be cursed."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا قُبُورَ أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ مَسَاجِدَ  

If anyone observes a prayer in which he does not recite Umm al-Qur’an, it is incomplete, it is incomplete, it is incomplete, and deficient. (The narrator said) I said: Abu Hurairah, sometime I pray behind the imam(then what should I do)? Pressing my hand he replied: O Persian, recite it inwardly, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying that Allah, Most High, has said: I have Me and the Half for my servant and My servant will receive what he asks. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Recite. When the servant says: “praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe,” Allah, Most High says: “My servant has praised me.” When the servant says: “ The Compassionate, the merciful, “Allah Most High says: “My servant has lauded me.” When the servant says: “Owner of the Day of Judgment,” Allah, Most High, says: “My servant has glorified Me” When the servant says: “ Thee do we worship and of thee we ask help. “ (Allah says) “This is between Me and My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks.” When the servant says: “ Guide us to the Straight Path, the path of those whom thou hast favoured, not ( the path) of those who earn thine anger nor of those who go astray,”(Allah says: ) “This is for My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 821)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ صَلَّى صَلَاةً لَمْ يَقْرَأْ فِيهَا بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ فَهِيَ خِدَاجٌ هِيَ خِدَاجٌ غَيْرُ تَمَامٍ قَالَ أَبُو السَّائِبِ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ إِنِّي أَكُونُ أَحْيَانًا وَرَاءَ الْإِمَامِ قَالَ أَبُو السَّائِبِ فَغَمَزَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ذِرَاعِي فَقَالَ يَا فَارِسِيُّ اقْرَأْهَا فِي نَفْسِكَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ قَسَمْتُ الصَّلَاةَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي نِصْفَيْنِ فَنِصْفُهَا لِي وَنِصْفُهَا لِعَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اقْرَءُوا يَقُولُ فَيَقُولُ الْعَبْدُ {الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} [الفاتحة 2] فَيَقُولُ اللهُ حَمِدَنِي عَبْدِي وَيَقُولُ الْعَبْدُ {الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ} [الفاتحة 1] فَيَقُولُ اللهُ أَثْنَى عَلَيَّ عَبْدِي يَقُولُ الْعَبْدُ {مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ} فَيَقُولُ اللهُ مَجَّدَنِي عَبْدِي وَقَالَ هَذِهِ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي يَقُولُ الْعَبْدُ {إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ} [الفاتحة 5] قَالَ آخِرُهَا لِعَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ قَالَ يَقُولُ عَبْدِي {اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة 7] يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ هَذَا لِعَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Read and the servant will stand and say."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اقْرَءُوا يَقُومُ الْعَبْدُ فَيَقُولُ  

[Machine] "Abu Hurayrah narrated the hadith."  

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ  

[Machine] "He heard Abu Hurairah saying: By the Lord of this house, I did not prohibit fasting on Fridays, but Muhammad prohibited it. By the Lord of this house, I did not say that whoever wakes up in the morning in a state of janabah (impurity) should break his fast, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said it. Abdur-Razzaq mentioned in his narration that Yahya bin Ja'dah informed Abdullah bin Amr Al-Qari that he heard Abu Hurairah saying…"  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ مَا أَنَا نَهَيْتُ عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَلَكِنْ مُحَمَّدٌ نَهَى عَنْهُ وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ مَا أَنَا قُلْتُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَهُ الصُّبْحُ جُنُبًا فَلْيُفْطِرْ وَلَكِنْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺقَالَهُ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ إِنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ جَعْدَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْقَارِيُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ  

“When anyone of you is fasting, let him not utter evil or ignorant speech. If anyone speaks to him in an ignorant manner, let him say: ‘I am fasting.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1691)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَجْهَلْ فَإِنْ جَهِلَ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ فَلْيَقُلْ إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ صَائِمٌ  

[Machine] A man lifted a thorn branch from the path of the Muslims, so he was forgiven.  

أَنَّ رَجُلًا رَفَعَ غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ مِنْ طَرِيقِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَغُفِرَ لَهُ  

"Look at her, for there is something in the eyes of the Ansar." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3247)  

يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ انْظُرْ إِلَيْهَا فَإِنَّ فِي أَعْيُنِ الْأَنْصَارِ شَيْئًا  

Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah forbade Shighar.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1884)  

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الشِّغَارِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What I utter is forbidden upon my tongue from the outskirts of the city to the extent that you, O the descendants of Harithah, seem to have left the premises of the sanctuary." Then he looked again and said, "No, actually, you are still within it."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حُرِّمَ عَلَى لِسَانِي مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْ الْمَدِينَةِ ثُمَّ جَاءَ بَنِي حَارِثَةَ فَقَالَ يَا بَنِي حَارِثَةَ مَا أُرَاكُمْ إِلَّا قَدْ خَرَجْتُمْ مِنَ الْحَرَمِ ثُمَّ نَظَرَ فَقَالَ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ فِيهِ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ فِيهِ  

On my way to the Prophet ﷺ I was reciting:-- 'What a long tedious tiresome night! Nevertheless, it has saved us From the land of Kufr (disbelief).' I had a slave who ran away from me on the way. When I went to the Prophet ﷺ and gave the pledge of allegiance for embracing Islam, the slave showed up while I was still with the Prophet ﷺ who remarked, "O Abu Huraira! Here is your slave!" I said, "I manumit him for Allah's Sake," and so I freed him. (Using translation from Bukhārī 2531)  

لَمَّا قَدِمْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قُلْتُ فِي الطَّرِيقِ  

“Faith will retreat to Al-Madinah as a snake retreats to its hole.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3111)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْإِيمَانَ لَيَأْرِزُإِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ كَمَا تَأْرِزُ الْحَيَّةُ إِلَى جُحْرِهَا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, a woman was punished for her cruelty towards a cat. She held it captive until it died of hunger, neither feeding it nor allowing it to eat from the insects of the earth. And Allah forgave a man who removed a thorny branch from the path."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ امْرَأَةً عُذِّبَتْ فِي هِرَّةٍ أَمْسَكَتْهَا حَتَّى مَاتَتْ مِنَ الْجُوعِ لَمْ تَكُنْ تُطْعِمُهَا وَلَمْ تُرْسِلْهَا فَتَأْكُلَ مِنْ حَشَرَاتِ الْأَرْضِ وَغُفِرَ لِرَجُلٍ نَحَّى غُصْنَ شَوْكٍ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Disputing in the Qur'an is disbelief."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِرَاءٌ فِي الْقُرْآنِ كُفْرٌ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ returned Ma'iz ibn Malik three times, and when he came for the fourth time, the Prophet ordered him to be stoned.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَدَّ مَاعِزَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ أَمَرَ بِهِ فَرُجِمَ  

[Machine] "About the Prophet, like him."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ مِثْلَهُ  

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade earnings of slave-girls. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3425)  

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْإِمَاءِ  

The Prophet ﷺ said: When one of you comes to an assembly, he should give a salutation and if he feels inclined to get up, he should give a salutation, for the former is not more of a duty than the latter. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5208)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَجْلِسَ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ فَإِنْ بَدَا لَهُ أَنْ يَقْعُدَ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ إِذَا قَامَ فَلَيْسَتِ الْأُولَى بِأَوْجَبَ مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ  

The Prophet ﷺ said: ʿWere it not that it would be too difficult for the ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwak at the time of every prayer.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 607)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ narrated a similar story."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah cursed the effeminate men who resemble women and the masculine women who resemble men, and those who ride a mount alone.  

لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُخَنَّثِي الرِّجَالِ الَّذِينَ يَتَشَبَّهُونَ بِالنِّسَاءِ وَالْمُتَرَجِّلَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ الْمُتَشَبِّهِينَ بِالرِّجَالِ وَرَاكِبَ الْفَلَاةِ وَحْدَهُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Adam replied to Musa: 'O Adam, it is you who expelled people from Paradise with your sin and caused their misery?' Adam said to him: 'O Musa, it is you whom Allah has chosen among people with His messages and words, so why do you blame me for something that Allah had written for me or destined upon me before He created me?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: 'Thus, Adam debated with Musa.'"  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَاجَّ آدَمُ مُوسَى فَقَالَ يَا آدَمُ أَنْتَ الَّذِي أَخْرَجْتَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ بِذَنْبِكَ وَأَشْقَيْتَهُمْ؟ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ آدَمُ أَنْتَ الَّذِي اصْطَفَاكَ اللهُ عَلَى النَّاسِ بِرِسَالَاتِهِ وَكَلَامِهِ فَتَلُومُنِي عَلَى أَمْرٍ كَتَبَهُ اللهُ عَلَيَّ أَوْ قَدَّرَهُ عَلَيَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَنِي؟ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَحَجَّ آدَمُ مُوسَى  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The garment of a believer extends to the middle of his calves, and anything lower than that will be in the Fire."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى عَضَلَةِ سَاقَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِلَى نِصْفِ سَاقَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِلَى كَعْبَيْهِ فَمَا كَانَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فِي النَّارِ  

Avoid suspicion, for suspicion is the gravest lie in talk and do not be inquisitive about one another and do not spy upon one another and do not feel envy with the other, and nurse no malice, and nurse no aversion and hostility against one another. And be fellow-brothers and servants of Allah. (Using translation from Muslim 2563a)   

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ لَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا تَحَسَّسُوا وَلَا تَنَافَسُوا وَلَاتَنَاجَشُوا وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللهِ إِخْوَانًا  

"Trials will not cease afflicting the believing man and the believing woman in their self, children, and wealth, until they meet Allah without having any sin." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2399)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ الْبَلَاءُ بِالْمُؤْمِنِ أَوِ الْمُؤْمِنَةِ فِي جَسَدِهِ وَفِي مَالِهِ وَفِي وَلَدِهِ حَتَّى يَلْقَى اللهَ وَمَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ خَطِيئَةٍ  

“A funeral has passed by the Prophet ﷺ and he stood up and said: ‘Stand up out of recognition of the enormity of death.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1543)   

مُرَّ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِجِنَازَةٍ فَقَالَ قُومُوا فَإِنَّ لِلْمَوْتِ فَزَعًا  

"Whoever leaves wealth then it is for his heirs, and whoever leaves poor dependents then it (the responsibility) is for me." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2090)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِأَهْلِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ ضَيَاعًا فَإِلَيَّ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man lying on his stomach and said, "Verily, this position is disliked by Allah."  

مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ مُضْطَجِعٍ عَلَى بَطْنِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ لَضِجْعَةٌ مَا يُحِبُّهَا اللهُ ﷻ  

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked: 'Which deed is the most virtuos ? And which deed is the best ?' He ﷺ said: 'Faith in Allah and His Messenger.' It was said: 'Then what ?' He said: 'Jihad is the hump (the most prominent) of the deeds.' Then what O Messenger of Allah ? He said: 'Then Hajj Mabrur.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1658)   

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ وَأَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ خَيْرٌ؟ قَالَ إِيمَانٌ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَيٌّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ سَنَامُ الْعَمَلِ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَيٌّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ  

"The Messenger of Allah mentioned the crescent and said: 'When you see it, fast and when you see it, stop fasting, and if it is obscured from you (too cloudy), then count thirty days."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2123)  

ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْهِلَالَ قَالَ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَصُومُوا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَأَفْطِرُوا فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَعُدُّوا ثَلَاثِينَ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one endures the difficulties and hardships of a city except that I will be their intercessor and witness, or their witness and intercessor."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَصْبِرُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى لَأْوَاءِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَجَهْدِهَا إِلَّا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا وَشَهِيدًا أَوْ شَهِيدًا وَشَفِيعًا  

[Machine] "Hisham narrated to us, expressing doubt, either as a witness or an intercessor."  

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ شَكَّ فِيهِ شَهِيدًا أَوْ شَفِيعًا  

"The Messenger of Allah said: "The best kind of charity is that which is given when you are rich, and the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and start with those for whom you are responsible."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2543)   

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited spitting in stagnant water and then performing ablution from it.  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يُبَالَ فِي الْمَاءِ الرَّاكِدِ ثُمَّ يُتَوَضَّأَ مِنْهُ
