Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Yazid, the mawla of al Aswad ibn Sufyan, from Abu Salama ibn Abd ar Rahman that Abu Hurayra recited al-Inshiqaq (Sura 84) to them and prostrated in it. When he had finished he told them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had prostrated in it.

أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَرَأَ لَهُمْ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ فَسَجَدَ فِيهَا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَخْبَرَهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِيهَا

[Machine] I saw Abu Huraira prostrating when the sky split, so I said, "You are prostrating in a surah in which we do not prostrate." He said, "Indeed, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrating in it."

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ سَجَدَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ فَقُلْتُ سَجَدْتَ فِي سُورَةٍ مَا نَسْجَدُ فِيهَا قَالَ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا

[Machine] I saw Abu Huraira prostrating when the sky split open. I said, "Do you prostrate in it?" He said, "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ prostrated in it."

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ سَجَدَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ قُلْتُ تَسْجُدُ فِيهَا قَالَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِيهَا

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سجد في إذا السماء انشقت

هُرَيرة فقرأ إذا السماء انشقت فسجد فيها وقال رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يسجد فيها أبو الغيث واسمه سالم مولى مطيع عَن أبي هُرَيرة
