[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying to Thawban, "How are you, O Thawban, when nations surround you like you are surrounded by a plate of food, and you will be affected by it?" Thawban said, "By my father and mother, O Messenger of Allah, is this because of our small number?" He said, "No, but you will be numerous on that day. However, weakness will be cast into your hearts." They said, "What is weakness, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Your love for the world and your aversion to fighting."
[Machine] "Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to accept gifts but did not accept charity."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The five daily prayers and Friday prayer until the next Friday are an expiation for the sins committed between them as long as major sins are avoided."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was fasting on the day of Ashura, so he said to his companions, "Whoever among you has already started fasting, let him complete his fast, and whoever has eaten something in the morning, let him continue fasting for the rest of the day."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ crossed paths with some people from the Jews who were fasting on the day of Ashura. He asked, "What is the significance of this fasting?" They replied, "This is the day on which Allah saved Moses and the Children of Israel from drowning, and drowned Pharaoh. On this day, the ark also came to rest on Mount Judi, so Noah and Moses fasted in gratitude to Allah." Upon hearing this, the Prophet ﷺ said, "I have a greater right to Moses than they do, and this fasting is more deserving for me." He then commanded his companions to observe the fast.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Verily, Allah is pleased with three things for you and dislikes three things for you. He is pleased with you to worship Him alone and not associate anything with Him. And He is pleased with you to advise and support those whom Allah has made you responsible for. And He is pleased with you to hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and not to be divided. And He dislikes for you gossiping, excessive questioning, and wasting wealth."
