[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions arrived, weakened by the fever of Yathrib. The polytheists said, "A group is advancing towards you, weakened by fever." Allah then informed the Prophet ﷺ about this. He ordered his companions to throw pebbles while the polytheists sat near the stone, watching them. His companions threw pebbles and walked between the two corners. The polytheists said, "Are these the people you claim are weakened by the fever?" They are stronger than so and so. They uttered these words. Ibn Abbas said, "This did not prevent him from ordering them to continue throwing the pebbles except for keeping them on guard."

I asked Ibn 'Abbas how old was he when death overtook the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: I little know that such a thing is not known to a man like you who belong to his people. He said: I asked people about it but they differed with me, and I liked to know your opinion about it. He said: Do you know counting? He said: Yes. He then said: Bear this in mind very well that he was commissioned (as a Prophet) at the age of forty, and he stayed in Mecca for fifteen years; sometime in peace and sometime in dread, and (lived) for ten years after his migration to Medina. [Machine] His mother cursed him, and how can he repent? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, the murdered person will come on the Day of Resurrection, holding his head in his right or left hand, while his killer will be holding him with his other hand. The veins of his neck will be flowing with blood in front of the Throne of the Most Merciful. Then he will say, 'O Lord, ask him why he killed me?'"

[Machine] A man invited us and brought thirteen roasted lizards with him. He said, "This is dinner, there are those who eat and those who abstain." When we woke up in the morning, we went to Ibn Abbas and I asked him about it. Some of his companions also asked him, until one of them said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Neither do I eat it nor do I prohibit it.'" Ibn Abbas then said, "You have said something evil. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sent as a mediator, permitting and prohibiting. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was at Maymuna's house, and with him were Fadl ibn Abbas, Khalid ibn Walid, and a woman. Lizard and bread were brought to him. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was about to eat, Maymuna said, 'O Messenger of Allah, this is the meat of a lizard.' He withdrew his hand and said, 'I do not eat it, but you may.' Fadl ibn Abbas, Khalid ibn Walid, and the woman ate it. Maymuna said, 'I do not eat from a food that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not eat.'"

[Machine] Regarding something that happened in it that I have responded to, and he wrote to him, "Indeed, you have written to me asking about the share of the near relative, for whom is it?" And indeed, we used to consider it for the proximity of the Messenger of Allahﷺ but our people refused that on us. And about the orphan, when will his inheritance be fulfilled? He said, "When he reaches puberty and starts having nocturnal emissions, and he becomes aware of it." And about the woman and the slave witnessing the spoils of war, they have no share, but they are rewarded and honored. And about killing the children of the polytheists, indeed, the Messenger of Allahﷺ did not kill them, and you also should not kill them unless you know from them what Al-Khidr knew from the boy when he killed him.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and his companions arrived in Mecca while they were weakened by the fever of Yathrib. The idolaters said, "Indeed, a group has come upon you, weakened by the fever of Yathrib, and they have brought harm from it." So the idolaters sat on the side nearest Al-Hijr and Allah informed His Prophet of what they said. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , commanded them to pelt the three rounds (of the Jamrat) so that the idolaters could see their flayed flesh. So they pelted the three rounds and then he commanded them to walk between the Ruknayn (the two corners of the Kaaba) where the idolaters could not see them. Ibn Abbas said, "The Prophet, ﷺ , did not prevent them from stoning all of the rounds except for leaving them on the last one." So the idolaters said, "Are these the ones you claim to be weakened by fever? These are better off than such and such."

[Machine] A Bedouin man gifted a gift to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , so he rewarded him for it and asked, "Are you satisfied?" The man said, "No." So the Prophet added more to it and asked again, "Are you satisfied?" The man said, "No." The Prophet added more to it once again and asked, "Are you satisfied?" Finally, the man agreed and said, "Yes." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I desired that I would not keep a gift unless it was from a Qurayshi, an Ansari, or a Thaqafi."
