Allah's Mercy will be shown only to those who are merciful; Show mercy to receive Mercy

tirmidhi:1924 – Ibn Abū ʿUmar > Sufyān > ʿAmr b. Dīnār > Abū Qābūs > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

"The merciful are shown mercy by Ar-Rahman. Be merciful on the earth, and you will be shown mercy from Who is above the heavens. The womb is named after Ar-Rahman, so whoever connects it, Allah connects him, and whoever severs it, Allah severs him."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.
الترمذي:١٩٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَابُوسَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ الرَّحِمُ شُجْنَةٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ فَمَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَصَلَهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ قَطَعَهَا قَطَعَهُ اللَّهُ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ ارْحَمُوا أَهْلَ الأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ لَمْ يَقُلْ مُسَدَّدٌ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَقَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Those who show mercy will be shown mercy by the Merciful. Show mercy to the people of the earth and the people of the heavens will show mercy to you. The womb is a fragment of the Merciful, whoever maintains ties with it, it will maintain ties with him, and whoever cuts it off, it will cut him off."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The womb (kinship) is a branch from the Most Merciful, so whoever keeps connected to it, Allah keeps connected to him, and whoever cuts it off, Allah cuts him off." Sahih (authentic).

[Machine] I heard Abdullah bin Amr say, The Prophet ﷺ said, "Those who are merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth and the One above the heavens will have mercy upon you."  

الحاكم:٧٢٧٤ – فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْعَنَزِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَابُوسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ الْحَاكِمُ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى «وَهَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثُ كُلُّهَا صَحِيحَةٌ وَإِنَّمَا اسْتَقْصَيْتُ فِي أَسَانِيدِهَا بِذِكْرِ الصَّحَابَةِ لِئَلَّا يَتَوَهَّمَ مُتَوَهِّمٌ أَنَّ الشَّيْخَيْنِ لَمْ يَهْمِلَا الْأَحَادِيثَ الصَّحِيحَةَ» صحيح

البيهقي:١٧٩٠٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ الْعَبْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَابُوسَ مَوْلًى لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَرْحَمْكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ  

adab:55 –

'A'isha reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Kinship (rahim) is derived from Allah. If anyone maintains ties of kinship Allah maintains ties with him. If anyone cuts them off, Allah cuts him off."  

الأدب المفرد:٥٥ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُزَرِّدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُومَانَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا
