[Machine] I used to ride behind the Prophet ﷺ on a red camel, and he said, "O Mu'adh!" I said, "Here I am at your service, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Do you know the right of Allah upon His servants?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said it three times, and I said it three times. Then he said, "Their right upon Him is that they worship Him alone and do not associate anything with Him. Do you know the right of the servants upon Allah if they do that?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said it three times, and I said it three times. Then he said, "Their right upon Him is that He forgives them and admits them to Paradise."

While I was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ and between me and him and between me and him there was only the back of the saddle, he said, "0 Muʿadh!" I replied, "Labbaik, 0 Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and Saʿdaik!" he said, "Do you know what is Allah's right upon his slave?" I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best" He said "Allah's right upon his slaves is that they should worship Him alone and not worship anything else besides Him." Then he proceeded for a while and then said, "O Muʿadh bin Jabal!" I replied, "Labbaik, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ:, Saʿdaik!' He said, "Do you know what is the right of the slaves upon Allah if they do that?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best."
