[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard the voices of two men while they were talking.  

الطبراني:١٠٩٧٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَارُودِيُّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ سَوَادَةَ النَّخَعِيُّ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

سَمِعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَوْتَ رَجُلَيْنِ وَهُمَا يَقُولَانِ

“We were with Talhah bin ‘Ubaidullah ؓ and we were in ihram. We were given a bird as a gift whilst Talhah was sleeping. Some of us ate and some of us refrained and did not eat. When Talhah woke up, he approved of those who had eaten it and said: “We ate it with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 1383)  

الدارمي:١٨٧١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ فِي سَفَرٍ فَأُهْدِيَ لَهُ طَيْرٌ وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ وَهُوَ رَاقِدٌ فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَكَلَ وَمِنَّا مَنْ تَوَرَّعَ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ طَلْحَةُ فَأَخْبَرُوهُ فَوَافََقَ مَنْ أَكَلَهُ

وَقَالَ «أَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

الحاكم:٤٧٩٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَجَاءَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْنَا فَسَلَّمَ فَرَدَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِهِ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ هَذَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَدْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا فَلَحِقَهُ وَقَالَ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ يَا سَيِّدِي ثُمَّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّهُ سَيِّدٌ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح

ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ قَدْ يُوهِمُ عَالَمًا مِنَ النَّاسِ أَنَّ ابْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ هَذَا الْخَبَرِ مِنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ

وَقَالَ «أَكَلْنَاهُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

وَقَالَ أَكَلْنَاهَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
