[Machine] In His saying, "And do not turn away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His countenance". It was narrated that the Prophet ﷺ used to sit with Bilal, 'Ammaar bin Yaasir, Sohayb, and Khabbaab ibn Al-Aratt (may Allah be pleased with them), in the company of some weak believers. When they saw those around the Prophet ﷺ , they demeaned them, so they went to him and spoke in this manner, "We would like for you to establish a separate gathering for us, where the Arabs can recognize our importance. When Arab delegations come to visit you, we feel ashamed to be seen sitting with these slaves. Or when we come to you, have them leave, and when we leave, let them sit if you wish." He said, "Yes." They said, "Then write for us a treaty." He called for a parchment in order to write for them, and he called 'Ali to write. While we were sitting in a corner, with him, Angel Gabriel descended upon him, and he recited the verse, "And do not turn away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon". Then, he mentioned Al-Aqra' Ibn Habis and his companion and said, "And thus We made some of them as a trial for others to say, “Are these the ones upon whom Allahhas bestowed favor among us?” Is not Allah most knowing of the grateful?" Then, he mentioned him and said, "And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, 'Peace be upon you; your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy'" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ threw the parchment, called us, and approached us while saying, "Peace be upon you," until we sat down with our knees touching his knees.

[Machine] In His saying ﷻ{And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, continuing in devotion to Him.} It is narrated that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was sitting with Bilal, Ammar ibn Yasir, Suhaib, and Khabbab ibn al-Aratt, amongst a group of weak believers. When the Prophet saw them gathered around him, he honored them and allowed them to approach him. They said, "We would like you to reserve a position for us that the Arabs recognize as a mark of distinction. When the delegations of the Arabs come to you, we feel ashamed to be seen sitting with these slaves. Or at least, when we come to you, allow us to have them move aside, and once we have finished, allow them to sit if you wish." He said, "Yes." They then said, "Write a document for us." So he called for a paper to be written for them, and he called upon Ali to write it. While we were sitting in one corner, Gabriel descended upon him revealing the verse ﷻ{And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon.} Then he mentioned 'Aqra ibn Habis and his companion, stating ﷻ{And thus We have tried some of them through others that they might say, "Are these the ones Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of the grateful?"} He then mentioned him and said ﷻ{And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy.} Upon mentioning this, the Prophet threw the document and called us to approach him, saying "Peace be upon you." We approached him until we put our knees against his knees.

He said, "I remembered Mus'ab ibn Umair who hastened nothing of his possessions, except to be wrapped in a garment. He could not find anything to be wrapped in.
[Machine] I entered the house of Khabbab and saw uncovered silver coins. So I asked, "What is this?" He said, "I sold my property in so-and-so village and I don't see anyone more deserving of it than me."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Horses are of three kinds: a horse for the Most Merciful, a horse for humans, and a horse for the devil. As for the horse for the Most Merciful, it is what is taken for the sake of Allah and fought upon by the enemies of Allah. As for the horse for humans, it is what is cared for and carried by them. And as for the horse for the devil, it is what is pampered and obeyed by him."
[Machine] It is narrated from the Prophet of Allah ﷺ that he never went to bed without reciting Surah Al-Kafirun until he finished.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me on a mission. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, you are sending me far away and I am concerned for you." He asked, "What would be your concern for me?" I replied, "I will be there in the morning, but I do not think you will be there in the evening. And I will be there in the evening, but I do not think you will be there in the morning." He said, "O Khabbab, there are five things; if you fulfill them, you will see me, and if you do not fulfill them, you will not see me." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are these things?" He replied, "Worship Allah alone and do not associate anything with Him, even if you are cut into pieces or burned alive, and believe in fate." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the belief in fate?" He said, "You should know that what has happened to you was not going to miss you, and what has missed you was not going to happen to you. And do not drink alcohol, for its sin leads to all other sins, just as its leaves cover the tree. And be dutiful to your parents, even if they command you to leave this world and hold onto the rope of the community, for the hand of Allah is with the community, O Khabbab. If you see me on the Day of Resurrection, you will not be separated from me."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "O Allah, cover my nudity, safeguard my fears, and settle my debt."
