"صَلَّى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ وَأَصْحَابُهُ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ سِتَّة عَشَرَ شَهْرًا، ثُمَّ حُوِّلتْ الْقِبْلَةُ بَعْدُ".

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that Said ibn al-Musayyab said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed towards the Baytal-Maqdis for sixteen months after arriving in Madina. Then the qibla was moved, two months before the battle of Badr. "  

مالك:١٤-٨ – وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ أَنْ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا نَحْوَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ثُمَّ حُوِّلَتِ الْقِبْلَةُ قَبْلَ بَدْرٍ بِشَهْرَيْنِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions prayed towards the House of Al-Masjid al-Aqsa for sixteen months, then the direction of prayer was changed.

tabarani:11751 – Muḥammad b. al-Naḍr al-Azdī > Muʿāwiyah b. ʿAmr > Zāʾidah > Simāk b. Ḥarb > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ and those with him prayed towards the direction of Jerusalem for about sixteen months, then the qibla (direction of prayer) was changed.  

الطبراني:١١٧٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

«صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَمَنْ مَعَهُ نَحْوَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا ثُمَّ حُوِّلَتِ الْقِبْلَةُ بَعْدُ»
