Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of entering upon the ladies." A man from the Ansar said, "Allah's Apostle! What about Al-Hamu the in-laws of the wife (the brothers of her husband or his nephews etc.)?" The Prophet ﷺ replied: The in-laws of the wife are death itself.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالدُّخُولَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَرَأَيْتَ الْحَمْوَ قَالَ الْحَمْوُ الْمَوْتُ

Beware of getting, into the houses and meeting women (in seclusion). A person from the Ansar said: Messenger of Allah, what about husband's brother, whereupon he ﷺ said: Husband's brother is like death.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالدُّخُولَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَرَأَيْتَ الْحَمْوَ قَالَ الْحَمْوُ الْمَوْتُ

“Beware of entering upon women.” So a man from the Ansar said: ‘”O Messenger of Allah! What do you think about Hamu? So he said: “The Hamu is death.”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالدُّخُولَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَرَأَيْتَ الْحَمْوَ قَالَ الْحَمْوُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُمَرَ وَجَابِرٍ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not enter upon women." It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, not even the daughter-in-law?" He said, "The daughter-in-law is death." Yahya said, "He means the proximity of the husband."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَى النِّسَاءِ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَمْوُ قَالَ الْحَمْوُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ يَحْيَى الْحَمْوُ يَعْنِي قَرَابَةَ الزَّوْجِ
