I heard 'Abdullah b. Zubair addressing the people and saying: Behold! do not dress yuor women with silk clothes for I heard 'Umar b. Khattab as sayinp that he had heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Do not wear silk, for one who wear it in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَلْبَسُوا الْحَرِيرَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ لَبِسَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ

He who wore silk in this world would not wear it in the Hereafter.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ

He who wore silk in this world would not wear it in the Hereafter.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: If anyone wears a garment for gaining fame, Allah will clothe him in a similar garment on the Day of Resurrection.

مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شُهْرَةٍ أَلْبَسَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَوْبًا مِثْلَهُ زَادَ عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ ثُمَّ تُلَهَّبُ فِيهِ النَّارُ

“Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever wears a garment of pride and vanity, Allah will clothe him, on the Day of Resurrection, in a garment of humiliation.’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شُهْرَةٍ أَلْبَسَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever wears a garment of pride and vanity in this world, Allah will clothe him in a garment of humiliation on the Day of Resurrection, then set it ablaze.’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شُهْرَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسَهُ اللَّهُ ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثُمَّ أَلْهَبَ فِيهِ نَارًا

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever wears a garment of pride and vanity, Allah will clothe him, on the Day of Resurrection, in a garment of humiliation.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3606)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شُهْرَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسَهُ اللهُ ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever wears the garment of fame, Allah blessed and exalted will cloth him with the garment of humiliation on the Day of Judgment." He said, "A partner?" And I have seen a migrant and sat with him.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شُهْرَةٍ أَلْبَسَهُ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ شَرِيكٌ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ مُهَاجِرًا وَجَالَسْتُهُ

“Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3588)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ

"Muhammad [SAW] said: 'Whoever wears silk in this world, will not wear it in the Hereafter.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5304)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلَنْ يَلْبَسَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever wears a garment made of silk, Allah will dress him in a garment of fire on the Day of Resurrection."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ حَرِيرٍ أَلْبَسَهُ اللهُ ثَوْبًا مِنَ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever wears a silk garment in this world, Allah will clothe them with a garment of humiliation or a garment of fire."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ حَرِيرٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسَهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ أَوْ ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارٍ

I heard ʿUmar saying, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever wears silk in this world, shall not wear it in the Hereafter." This hadith is also narrated through 'Umar ibn al-Khattab. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5834)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ «مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ»

قَالَ مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ حَرِيرٍ أَلْبَسَهُ اللَّهُ ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارٍ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَيَّامِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ مِنْ أَيَّامِ اللَّهِ الطِّوَالِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever wears silk in this world, Allah will clothe him on the Day of Resurrection in a garment of fire or a garment of [Hell]fire."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسُهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارٍ أَوْ ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارِهِ»

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever wears silk in this world, Allah will make them wear a garment of fire.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَبَّسَهُ اللهُ ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever wears the garment of fame in this worldly life, Allah will clothe him in the garment of humiliation in the Hereafter."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شُهْرَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسَهُ اللهُ ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ فِي الْآخِرَةِ»

"مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ في الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلبَسْهُ في الآخِرَةِ".

"مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ في الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلبَسْهُ في الآخِرَةِ".

"مَنْ لَبسَ ثَوْبَ حَرِيرٍ أَلْبَسَهُ الله ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارٍ".

"مَنْ لبِس ثَوبَ شُهْرَةٍ في الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسَهُ الله -تَعَالى- ثوْب مَذَلَّةٍ يَومَ الْقِيَامةِ".

"مَنْ لَبسَ ثَوْبَ شُهْرَة أَلْبَسهُ الله يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَوْبًا مِثْلهُ ثُمَّ يُلهِبُ فِيهِ النَّارَ".
