"كَانَ الكتَابُ ينزِلُ (*) أولُ مِنْ باب واحدٍ عَلى حرفٍ واحدٍ، ونزلَ القرآنُ مِن سبعة أحرف: زاجرٌ وَآمرٌ، وحلالٌ وحرامٌ، ومحكمٌ ومتشابهٌ وأمَثالًا. فأحِلُّوا حلالهُ، وحرِّمُوا حرَامَهُ، وافْعَلُوا مَا أُمِرْتُمْ بِهِ، وانْتَهُوا عَمَّا نُهِيتُم عَنْهُ، واعْتَبِرُوا بِأمْثَالِه، واعْمَلُوا بِمحْكمِهِ، وآمِنُوا بِمتَشَابِههِ، وقُولُوا: آمَنَّا بِهِ، كُلٌّ منْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا".
[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ it is narrated that the first Book descended through one door and on one writing, and the Qur'an descended through seven doors and on seven recitations: a commandment, a prohibition, what is lawful, what is unlawful, what is decisive, what is allegorical, and parables. So make lawful what it permits, prohibit what it forbids, act upon its commands, and refrain from what it prohibits. Take lessons from its parables, apply its decisive verses, believe in its allegorical verses, and say, "We have believed in it, all of it is from our Lord." Only those with understanding will remember.
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ كَانَ الْكِتَابُ الْأَوَّلُ نَزَلَ مِنْ بَابٍ وَاحِدٍ عَلَى حَرْفٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ مِنْ سَبْعَةِ أَبْوَابٍ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ زَاجِرٍ وَآمِرٍ وَحَلَالٍ وَحَرَامٍ وَمُحْكَمٍ وَمُتَشَابِهٍ وَأَمْثَالٍ فَأَحِلُّوا حَلَالَهُ وَحَرِّمُوا حَرَامَهُ وَافْعَلُوا مَا أُمِرْتُمْ بِهِ وَانْتَهُوا عَمَّا نُهِيتُمْ عَنْهُ وَاعْتَبِرُوا بِأَمْثَالِهِ وَاعْمَلُوا بِمُحْكَمِهِ وَآمَنُوا بِمُتَشَابِهِهِ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا وَمَا يَذَّكَرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: The first book was revealed through one door and on one letter. The Quran was revealed through seven doors and on seven letters, commanding and prohibiting, declaring lawful and unlawful, with unambiguous verses and ambiguous verses, and examples. So make lawful what it permits, and prohibit what it forbids, and do what you are commanded to do, and refrain from what you are prohibited from, and consider its examples, and follow its unambiguous verses, and believe in its ambiguous verses, and say, "We believe in it; all of it is from our Lord."
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ نَزَلَ الْكِتَابُ الْأَوَّلُ مِنْ بَابٍ وَاحِدٍ عَلَى حَرْفٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ مِنْ سَبْعَةِ أَبْوَابٍ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ زَاجِرًا وَآمِرًا وَحَلَالًا وَحَرَامًا وَمُحْكَمًا وَمُتَشَابِهًا وَأَمْثَالًا فَأَحِلُّوا حَلَالَهُ وَحَرِّمُوا حَرَامَهُ وَافْعَلُوا مَا أُمِرْتُمْ بِهِ وَانْتَهُوا عَمَّا نُهِيتُمْ عَنْهُ وَاعْتَبِرُوا بَأَمْثَالِهِ وَاعْمَلُوا بِمُحْكَمِهِ وَآمِنُوا بِمُتَشَابِهِهِ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا
[Machine] "From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: 'The first scripture was revealed from one gate and on one letter, and the Quran was revealed from seven gates on seven letters. It contains prohibitions, actions, lawful things, forbidden things, clear verses, ambiguous verses, and examples. So, make lawful what is lawful, forbid what is forbidden, do what you have been commanded, refrain from what you have been forbidden, take the examples into consideration, follow the clear verses, believe in the ambiguous verses, and say: 'We believe in it, all of it is from our Lord.'"
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كَانَ الْكِتَابُ الْأَوَّلُ يَنْزِلُ مِنْ بَابٍ وَاحِدٍ وَعَلَى حَرْفٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ مِنْ سَبْعَةِ أَبْوَابٍ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ زَاجِرٌ وَآمِرٌ وَحَلَالٌ وَحَرَامٌ وَمُحْكَمٌ وَمُتَشَابِهٌ وَأَمْثَالٌ فَأَحِلُّوا حَلَالَهُ وَحَرِّمُوا حَرَامَهُ وَافْعَلُوا مَا أُمِرْتُمْ بِهِ وَانْتَهُوا عَمَّا نُهِيتُمْ عَنْهُ وَاعْتَبِرُوا بِأَمْثَالِهِ وَاعْمَلُوا بِمُحْكَمِهِ وَآمِنُوا بِمُتَشَابِهِهِ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا»
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said to Abdullah bin Mas'ood, 'Verily, the Scriptures used to be revealed from the sky through one gate, and indeed the Quran was revealed through seven gates with seven modes: lawful, unlawful, decisive, ambiguous, parables, commands, and prohibitions. So, take what is lawful as lawful, what is unlawful as unlawful, adhere to what is decisive, contemplate the ambiguous, and consider the parables. Indeed, everything is from Allah, and only the people of understanding will take heed.'"
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ إِنَّ الْكُتُبَ كَانَتْ تَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ بَابٍ وَاحِدٍ وَإِنَّ الْقُرْآنَ أُنْزِلَ مِنْ سَبْعَةِ أَبْوَابٍ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ حَلَالٌ وَحَرَامٌ وَمُحْكَمٌ وَمُتَشَابِهٌ وَضَرْبُ أَمْثَالٍ وَآمِرٌ وَزَاجِرٌ فَحِلَّ حَلَالَهُ وَحَرِّمْ حَرَامَهُ وَاعْمَلْ بِمُحْكَمِهِ وَقِفْ عِنْدَ مُتَشَابِهِهِ وَاعْتَبِرْ أَمْثَالَهُ فَإِنَّ كُلًّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ وَمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
"إِنَّ الْكُتُبَ كَانَتْ تَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِن بَابٍ وَاحدٍ، وَإِنَّ الْقُرْآنَ أُنْزِلَ مِنْ سَبْعَة أَبْوَابٍ عَلَى سَبْعة أَحْرُفِ، حَلَالٍ، وحَرَامٍ، وَمُحْكَمٍ، وَمُتَشَابِهٍ، وَضَرْبِ أَمْثَالٍ (وآمِرٍ) وزاجِر، فَأَحِلَّ حَلَالَهُ، وَحرَّمْ حَرَامَهُ، وَاعْمَلْ بمُحْكَمِه، وَقِفْ عِنْد مُتَشابِهِه، واعْتَبِر أَمْثَالَهُ، فَإِنَّ كُلًا مِنْ عنْد الله، وَمَا يَتَذكَّر إِلَّا أُولو الأَلْبَابِ ".
"نَزَلَ الكِتَابُ الأَوَّلُ مِنْ بَابِ وَاحِد عَلَى حَرْفٍ وَاحِد، وَنَزَل القُرآنُ مِنْ سَبْعَة أَبْوَاب عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُف، زَجْرًا وَأَمْرًا، وَحَلالًا وَحَرَامًا، وَمُحكَمًا وَمُتَشَابِهًا وَأَمْثَالًا، فَأَحِلُّوا حَلالهُ، وَحَرِّمُوا حرَامَهُ، وَافْعَلُوا مَا أُمِرْتُمْ بِهِ، وَانْتَهُوا عَمَّا نُهِيتُمْ عَنْهُ، وَاعْتَبرُوا بِأَمْثَالِهِ، وَاعْمَلُوا بِمُحْكَمِهِ، وآمِنُوا بِمُتَشابِهِهِ، وَقُولُوا: آمَنَّا بِهِ كُل مِنْ عِنْدِ ربِّنَا".
"نَزَلَ القُرآنُ عَلى أَمْرٍ وَنَهْيٍ، وَحَلالٍ وَحَرامٍ، وَمُحْكَمٍ وَمُتَشَابِه وَأَمْثَالِ، فَأَحِلُّوا حَلالهُ وَحَرِّمُوا حَرامَهُ، وَافْعَلُوا مَا أُمرْتُم بِهِ، وَانْتَهُوا عَمَّا نُهِيتُم عَنْهُ، وَاعْمَلُوَا بِمُحْكَمِهِ، وآمِنُوا بِمُتشَابِهِه، وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِند ربِّنا".
