A group would secede itself (from the Ummah) when there would be dissension among the Muslims. Out of the two groups who would be nearer the truth would kill them.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَمْرُقُ مَارِقَةٌ عِنْدَ فُرْقَةٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَقْتُلُهَا أَوْلَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ بِالْحَقِّ

There would be two groups in my Ummah, and there would emerge another group (seceding itself from both of them), and the party nearer to the truth among the two would kill them (the group of the Khawarij).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَكُونُ فِي أُمَّتِي فِرْقَتَانِ فَتَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِهِمَا مَارِقَةٌ يَلِي قَتْلَهُمْ أَوْلاَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ

"A group will secede at a time of division among the people, and they will be killed by the group that is closer to the truth."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ تَمْرُقُ مَارِقَةٌ فِي فُرْقَةٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَيَلِي قَتْلَهُمْ أَوْلَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ بِالْحَقِّ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَمْرُقُ مَارِقَةٌ عِنْدَ فُرْقَةٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَقْتُلُهَا أَوْلَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ بِالْحَقِّ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My nation will split into two groups and a stray individual will pass between them, and the group closer to the truth will kill that stray individual."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَفْتَرِقُ أُمَّتِي فِرْقَتَيْنِ فَيَمْرُقُ بَيْنَهُمَا مَارِقَةٌ تَقْتُلُهَا أَوْلَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ بِالْحَقِّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ تَكُونُ أُمَّتِي فِرْقَتَيْنِ يَخْرُجُ بَيْنَهُمَا مَارِقَةٌ يَلِي قَتْلَهَا أَوْلَاهُمَا بِالْحَقِّ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَكُونُ فِيأُمَّتِي فِرْقَتَانِ يَخْرُجُ بَيْنَهُمَا مَارِقَةٌ يَلِي قَتْلَهَا أَوْلَاهُمَا بِالْحَقِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ يَكُونُ فُرْقَةٌ بَيْنَ طَائِفَتَيْنِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي تَمْرُقُ بَيْنَهُمَا مَارِقَةٌ تَقْتُلُهَا أَوْلَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ بِالْحَقِّ

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "My Ummah will split into two groups, and a rebellious faction will pass through them that the righteous group should kill."

"تَمْرُقُ مارقَةٌ عند فُرْقَة مِنَ المسلمينَ فيقتُلُهَا أَوْلَى الطائفتين بالحقِّ".

"تَكُونَ فُرْقَةٌ بينَ طائفتينِ من أُمتى؛ تَمْرُقُ بينهمَا مارقَةٌ يَقْتُلُهَا أَوْلَى الطَّائفَتَيْن بالحقِّ".
